November 22, 200817 yr i don't know how well known this is, but ankous are fantastic for range exp. it's very fast exp (if you have high range level), and you get great drops. ankous weren't that popular when i had trained there ~2 years ago, but it might have changed since then. they're not so good for melee exp, as you'll go through food pretty fast, but they're awesome for range.

November 24, 200817 yr The workers were proven to be better in both xp and money ages ago. Nothing new here. 'Ages ago' rune scimmys were 15-20k. Now they're 35k. I suspect that workers are still better, but you have to consider market changes. flesh crawlers are best xp in my opinion for f2p, Opinion? Whether or not you think one training spot gives better xp than another is not a matter of opinion, it is a matter of how much information and data you have. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

November 24, 200817 yr Cockroach Soldiers do give great drops, but they also have high hits. There is however better training. You can train at the Flesh Crawlers or Spiders in the Stronghold of Security and get much higher amounts of experience per hour. Perhaps they are good if you desire both decent money and experience? Kill spiders for speed and used the saved time to make cash... Or you could kill spiders and make money by merchanting at the same time, woot! The soldiers are OK but I never get any good loot from them despite my fast kills (24s with rune scimi ftw?) I don't think I've got a rune sq to date :wall:
