So since I gain about 30m with hunting then people with hunting capes should get, in theory, less respect than people with fletching capes since it doesn't cost them anything but time to get 99. That's what I am getting from your statement here.. And since 99 fm cost 4m instead of 30k then those people get more respect than both since they spent more money on the skill that which in all obvious purposes is the most useless skill in the creation of Runescape. (which I would beg you to prove me wrong for saying)

No because 99 hunter, and runecrafting are deadly slow and boring.

 

Fletching is easily gotten in less than a week with no loss.

 

 

 

And firemaking is the most serious skill in runescape.

Saying its bad because it costs 30k is like saying runecrafting is worse than hurrendous cause it makes money. And then (as ballr said) firemaking is better.

EDIT: I get now. But. Hunter was gotten in 4 days, which is less than fletching. Does that make hunter worse? Because it makes money and is less time?

Then think of how long runecrafting takes.

 

And think of the competition from hunter there is. And the boredom.

 

 

 

Fletching is just too easy.

When ive been hunter on 4 of my accounts (lulzor) ive never had to compete with other hunters.

At red chins?

 

People will hop into your world, steal your spot, then you hop cant find a world have to go to the PvP and pretty much almost get owned.

 

 

 

Trust me, I know - I help a friend by annoying people when he hunts chins and I alch.

 

 

 

Anyway onto the subject again, find a cape that matches your thingers.

If it makes money

 

If its quick

congratulations guys. i thought i had a thread asking for help on what cape to get and instead you turn it around and say do what you want. i gave you a list of what i want! i enjoy them all the same, hence the list.

 

 

 

ballr- you sir are funny. i don't mind your spamming :). you had valid points on how getting money and making money on getting a 99 skill doesn't matter. because quite frankly it doesn't.

 

 

 

i've made a couple million from runecrafting. i found a bunch of ways to make money and i don't need money makers. like for example in 2-3 weeks i made approx. 3-4m just from barrows. and that was the first time i'd done it since summer. so quite frankly i could have gotten loads of money and have bought myself an ags but i don't need money. i've had the same amount of money since around September.

 

 

 

here's what i don't need right now= all stats 70+, any combat relayed achievements, to kill anything, to buy anything (ags bgs ss zgs)

 

here's what i have (i'm not lazy you know!)= quest cape, full void, achievement diaries in lumb, varrok (just need to get ivy bush and it's done), and karajma. i've done all miniquests, and i've got 70+ summoning banked. oh yes and i've got well over 30 clay tools from the stealing creation minigame that i haven't left since it came out.

 

 

 

too all of your who said 70+ is way better than 60+.... look. i only use tears of guthix for construction. anything that's below level 70 (for the exception for rc and summ) means i loathe doing that skill.

I really want you to get 99 magic, even though you don't want to get it, I still think you should.

 

 

 

And just because this is a help and advice forum, he clearly stated he wanted a 99, nothing else, meaning he does not want advice on what things he should do with all of his skills.

I was personally giving him real reasons to train 99s.

Plus, 70+ in all beats 99 cooking/fletch any day

 

(which is what most people have recommended)

personally just get all skills to 70 and get quest cape. most 99s are useless anyway and are just for show and i'd rather have the quest cape instead of one saying that i spent weeks clicking the same thing over and over....

 

 

 

but if u must go for rc since its not that common of a cape and makes a ton

skill capes and quest cape are the exact same until you get a trimmed skill cape. the only difference then i believe is that it gives a pray boost.

OH MY GODDDDD guys. i do not want 70+! i HAVE a quest cape. i do not want 99 magic i want the ones listed.

Fairly quick, makes you good money, and the cape is more "respected" than quicker SC's like Cooking or Fletching.

 

 

 

If you fancy a big challenge though, fishing, runecrafting or herblore are great capes. The first two make you money, the last drains it.

Cooking & Fletching are some good taster 99's. But don't do them if you don't enjoy it.

 

 

 

Find what skill you like to do most and then pursue your goal.

And when they voice their opinion about my opinion, its flaming for a load of crap, and going off topic. -.-

The only reason that Aura and I dont have skillcapes is cause we actually want a decent, hard working skill as our first 99.

I'd say, dont get any of those. The only ones I'd consider are hunter (good xp + money), or any of the combat ones (Ranged perhaps as the most useful one, do aviansies and chinning, or magic, do bolt enchanting).
