Crystal shield lasts an eternity lol. And it maintains stats above granite/obsidian all the way down to 2/10. 8 charges will last me months camping there.

i have seen people do it w/ rune kite. use dfs if u can, that will be decent defense.

I've actually seen this before, just hadn't tried it. The people I observed had around 80, 88, and 99 Defense respectively. But they all had a fair share of damage. I would recommend the traditional Tanking method until you raise your defense a bit.

I don't have void ranged.

Since no one else here apparently has tried it, I'll post. It's the method I use.

 

 

 

First off, I use a unicorn, which means I can basically wear anything from full bandos to jester outfit and still not worry about food. I use void + zammy book, but you might want to sub a zammy kite, as my range defence bonus is in the 80s. It works very, very well. I use +10% range and a saradomin stole, averaging almost 300 kills per hour. I tried a saradomin cloak\fury, but the lack of accumulator was too much of a pain.

Pretty hard. And that's assuming you're wearing Void.

since void is pretty bad def and if you arnt using prayer you would need alot of def and some sup def pots if you wanted to tank in void

You'd need a zammy kite and sara cloak/cape (or vice versa) unless you're in the Eyrie, in which case you'd only need a zammy item.

 

 

 

It *should* work at higher levels if you have B2P or bunyip with a full load of food (bunyip alone probably wouldn't work).

Do you want to die or what? Some of the sara NPCs hit insanely hard. And the gorak would own you. Unless you're in the Eyrie, but you'd still need a zammy item.

all these people who never tried it themselves, It will work, I did it before, the bunyip compares for the def bonus you lose, and b2p does the rest I do recommend taking a zammy kite or something and sara cloak or whatever and tank them outside of eyrie, mainly the 69-89, dont bother with the 123

Void is nice for people with high def and 68+ summon,

If you don't have void range yet it's not worth getting if you only want it for avs, just tank. Either way with void you'll prolly do okay with bunyip + btp + w/e else. They don't really hit that hard lol...

What's the xp/h you get there comp? I'm really interested in your method since I'm getting 99 ranged too, and we both have a unicorn + void ranged.

@Robert - I don't bring one. Stand south of the fountain; the avansies have a weird system, most of them will attack you once then ignore you once you kill them, EXCEPT for the 69\89 near the fountan. Standing just south of it keeps the 69 from attacking you, and you can kill the 89\71 without being attacked by more then one. In the off chance you do, flip on range pray until one of them dies. Sara\zammy items are REQUIRED, though - hence the unholy book and sara stole.

Instant death. Don't do that if you like your void or ranger boots.

Decided to just go there with void and pony like comp suggested. It went really good. Just prayed for like the first 5-10 min, then they got unagressive. I get like 50k ranged xp an hour and over 200 bars.
