Well folks, i'm actually considering playing Runescape again. The main reason is that I usually wake up before my friends, and I spend 3 hours watching the boring TV. But playing Runescape has it's sacrifices.

So to pursuea me to play Runescape, I wanna know the Pros and Cons about playing it. I'll start off with main ideas.

Pro - The game is fun, I enjoy playing it.

Con - I always get addicted and miss out on my social life.

Pro - Maybe now that i'm older, I might be able to control my playing time.

I hope you guys can direct me to the best decision with good replys.

Like my oredeal is this I can either go next door and hang with the mexicans, play runescape, or go back to sleep, I go back to sleep most of the time. Unless I haveto go work or just feel like flying (Love the new P51 the shop got :D )

Take these guys advice man.....runescape is like crack. Everything else after that....you know the story.

only thing more addictive than runescape is probley breathing.

runescape is like crack but a LOT more fun!

If you start up again, just remember what Guthix is all about: balance.

Too much of anyting is bad, too little of anything might not be enough.

Alright, I'm not playing, life is too short.

Personally, I'd rather play a game than watching TV, as at least its interactive, and you do have to think what you are doing.

Hell, Some are even mentally challenging, therefore, metally stimulating (I'm not talking about rs if you didnt guess), others are like books, with the player taking a backseat to the story, which can be much more entertaining:

Why watch a film when you can take part in it in a virtual world!

You might not want to play RS, but I'll point you to some games which you should check out:

Medieval: Total War.

Half Life 1 and 2

Deus ex

Max Payne 1 and 2 (Now this game certainly puts you in a movie, I'm sure there is actual talk of making the game into a film as well)

Metal Gear Series (Solid is v.good)

Any of the Zelda series (Link to the past on the snes is fabulous, just get an emulator and dl a rom)

Anyway, you get the point.

But, RS it fun in its own way.

Alright, I'm not playing, life is too short.

Oh come on. How old are you? You're going to have atleast 50 years left.

Don't tell me that a few hours a week on a game is interfering with this lifespan of mine, it's really not.

Just play whenever you're bored. That way, you can switch off just like *that*. Like moi.
