  1. I thought high hp was good for a pure? And what would you suggest as a better pure? Thanks for responding!
  2. Hi, I've recently met some longtime goals on my f2p main, so I want to make a pker pure. I was thinking something like this to start with: att 40 str 40 def 1 mag 40 range 40 prayer 1 would that be a good pker for f2p? thanks a lot.
  3. not to be rude, but your stats are all kind of low, I'm not much higher though. A good way to raise stats and get money would be to fish and cook, or mine and smelt, and sell the fish/bars.
  4. that would be good, with maybe an 80% success rate or something.
  5. Well, let's assume that the chips were real.... Pocket them, but don't cash in on that day. Visit the casino later, and cash them in at that time.
  6. Aye, but that was only one event. There are still many more to go. It is a Series, after all. ;) you know what I mean...
  7. I was glad when Lee won the 05 WSOP. JR was being an [wagon] the entire time, especially to Lee, so it was great when Lee took him out.
  8. I love poker, and watching it is all right...but I do agree that the HUGE fad going around kind of ruins it, but whatever... What came first though, the TV endorsements, or the fad? That's what I wonder.
  9. My main taste in movies centers on violence, deep story, and thought provocationnessingness. (and Kevin Spacey) So... 1. The United States of Leland 2. The Usual Suspects 3. K-PAX 4. Sin City 5. LA Confidential 6. Kill Bill 1 7. Godfather 1 8. Godfather 2 9. Kill Bill 2 10. Pulp Fiction 11. Reservoir Dogs 12. Fight Club 13. Shark Attack 3: Megalodon (*THE* funniest movie ever) 14. You've Got Mail (before you laugh, watch this movie with a girl. It's a life-changing experience.) 15. Scarface 16. Crash (the 2005 movie, not the sick [specialInterest] film from the 90s...) 17. The Life of David Gale 18. Ocean's Eleven 19. Thirteen Monkeys 20. Bridge of Dragons (same as 13, great to make fun of!) And there you have it...
  10. Electrical engineering major at the one and only University of Oklahoma (where the men are men, and the sheep are scared...)
  11. Let's see, Mae, Hawthorne Heights, Funeral For a Friend in one place? Hell yes I'm going! I've got tickets for July 22 at Riverbend (this friday...)
  12. Just finished it, thought it was great.... About RAB being Regulus Black, here's what JK Rowling had to say in an online interview a while back about Regulus: Now obviously, the note inside the locket said that "by the time you read this, I'll have been dead for a while..", or something like that, so I think that Regulus is the best guess, considering his initials... Overall, I thought this was my favorite, but just because Harry, Ron and Hermione are all growing up, and become more mature..
  13. We installed Longhorn on a few boxes in my IT class about a year and a half ago....so not exactly brand new
  14. Thanks for clueing me in on my noobishness
  15. Great 2nd quest/skill. One question, would the 'stand and deliver' be an emote?
  16. If I know them, I'll explain who I am (our relationship...ie "I bought 2k lobbies from you yesterday.") If not, I'll give them my best poker face.
  17. out. standing. Nice job, lots of thought. I would LOOOOVE to see that as part of Runescape.
  18. Runescape=heroin, but more addictive.
  19. That would destroy the buy low, sell high aspect of merchanting (aka, destroy merchanting), because people would never accept a trade if they weren't getting a good deal.
  20. The lack of a drop all button can be explained by the same reason for the lack of a bank on karamja (f2p fishers can relate to that), banks right by a mine, a Mine X option, etc. Though those would make the game easier, I think that Jagex wants there to be a large level of player involvement....aka minimal afking.
  21. Yes, it's a VERY small sacrifice to stop scammers. Honestly, I don't think your idea needs any changes, and I DO think it should be implemented. I can't really relate to the post-fishing spree boredom, because I don't play for very long at a time. Because of this, I'm not really effected by the trade scams, as I always double check trade screens.
  22. Out of curiousity, what country do you live in? (You mentioned no payment method in your country....just wondering.) Besides combat, what are your stats like? I'd recommend getting skills up as much as possible, maybe... Also, if I were you I'd email Jagex and explain your situation....If you want to become a paying member, I'm sure that they'll acommodate you as much as possible.
  23. It's a good idea, don't get me wrong. But in estimation, I probably make 15 trades a day, and I'm not even a merchant. Each time I buy/sell a random item, I don't want to have to stare at a flashing screen. I already get enough flashiness from those ridiculous ads with the aliens.
  24. I think that a decent idea for a moneysink, and a useful item, would be player owned hoRses. Horses would allow for much faster and efficient travel, and oculd be bought from a specialty store, untradeable, after completion of a quest. As an additional moneysink, horses would have to boarded at a stable for 1k or 5k price a day, maybe more?? Comment, add, criticize, threaten bodily harm, as you wish. ~Brian
  25. That's a very good idea. I've always thought that ranged and magic, especially magic, is (are) hard to train without a large bankroll. Especially at the lower levels, a small amount of xp for rocks thrown/small spells casted would help new players get their feet on the ground. Obviously, at higher levels, the nominal xp gained would not be worth the time, but by the time you're at a decent magic/ranged lvl, you probably have enough money to fund training with runes and high level arrows. Overall, great idea. But how about instead of throwing rocks, you could throw chickens and sheep?
