GM Quest Boss (SPOILERS)

Featured Replies

Made it to the end boss in GM Quest. Can't beat him. Some people claim he's "easy", but he switches attack style rapidly, hits for 25+, and lowers all my stats.

Anyone know what's going on? Why is he hard for me (stats in sig) and easy for others? I can use pretty much anything to fight him, but have already died three times.

Thanks.

(Not really sure on how to kill him, since i'm at an epic 189 QP ;), but try Super Sets/Restores, and Protect Prayers/Piety. Bring a decent fighting familiar if you can, and perhaps try to stand on the same space as him, getting him to waltz around you a bit, while you attack him, step on him, he waltzes, you attack, step, waltz, etc.

If someone's about to contradict me, do it with helpful advice, please.

That's a little too complicated for this fight.

He uses three weapons, a club, a bow, and some staff looking wavy bottom thing. Just pray based on his weapon. I'll upload a video if you really want. I used like 2 sharks and 1 dose of super restore I think. It was terribly easy smashing his face in with a god sword :ugeek:

Mhm.. ripping his arms off as he talking about my death was gratifying. You need to be quick, and change prayers quickly, the attack styles are easy to decipher, just stay focused.

Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

I beat him with careful prayer switching, a super set, and a handful of sharks. I'd definitely recommend a familiar; there were several points when the boss beat up on my terrorbird instead of me, giving me valuable time to heal/pot.

As far as weaponry, I got by with a whip and dds for specs. If you have a gs, you should be able to pwn. Don't give up!
