Strength Training: Weapons

Dragon Scimitar+Rune Defender combo is better than Saradomin Sword because, even though it does not hit that high or fast, it has decent strength and speed, and it comes at a low cost. You can spend the money you save on choosing the Dragon Scimitar on other things that are more important. Saradomin Sword certainly doesn't have 60x the bonus as Dragon Scimitar, so why pay 60x more?

...Because you can sell it back again and not lose any money at all?

Sara Sword all the way, the Sara Godsword is awsome and all but the Sara sword has the best xp rates, second only to using a whip.

Retired

2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes

Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

D scimmy would be one for you, that or the awesome obby weapon combo - very bad for most slayer tasks though.

Also, I dont recommend selling a dfs as str training usually leaves you open.. (less defence),

Using an SGS special when you have to heal pray/hp would get you going, that or D claws

;)

I dont need a siggy no moar.

I know you don`t want this advice, but I would vote for whip on controlled. You are only 91 slayer, and chances are, if you continue to 99 slayer, you would be 99 strength by then. Sorry, but I believe it is the best way. :ugeek:

This is a person with 99 att and def already...what value is there in training controlled?

I prefer the SS over scimmy and defender.

I tried both and the SS just hits a little bit harder at the same speed.

That adds up in the end.

I also never take a DDS with me for special so I like the SS because it actually has a special you can use. Although it sometimes hits 0.

Still better than nothing because when I was training with a whip I would never bother with a DDS on most slayer tasks.

(the only time I bother with a DDS is when I am melee'ing metal dragons)

i strongly recommend sgs, especially since your going to slay it. its healing spec is very useful, and its great for the higher lvl tasks. in the meantime till u can afford it, get normal sara sword, it destroys the scimmy.
