I think your confused or you are talking about the wrong thing because the circus is a weekly thing that you do for items or like 1k-1.5k xp in Range,mage,agility.

So I'd say it is good to do once a week. Takes barely anytime with nice rewards.

Yeah, it's definitely way more than 1.5k xp. Worth your time.

I get around 8k agility, and 15/20k for mage and range.

Its closer to 20k Magic, 10k Range, 8k Agility if you do a different action each time. Takes about 5 Minutes to gain roughly 35kish exp in 3 skills on a weekly basis. I'd say do it every Wednesday. The Circus is in Catherby right now.
