The Fire Cape Retrieval

Okay so hypothetically,

 

 

 

I get the fire cape through all my hard work. Then I decide to train on say... green dragons. Unfortunately I die (weird considering I can beat a 702?).

 

 

 

Is there a Fire Cape retrieval ? Or do I have to get it ALL over again?

Correction whats pathetic is someone who can beat Jad but then can manage to die to a random monster around rs and not even get back to their grave in time to grab their stuff.

Well, I train with a berserker ring and a combat bracelet currently, so I'm quite... carefull. I suppose one more special item wouldn't hurt.

 

 

 

Would be appreciated if you could retrieve though.

I doubt it'll ever be retrievable.

 

 

 

But by all accounts beat jad once and you can basically walk through it after that.

 

 

 

And once you got it use it for day to day things, but maybe don;t take it to say gwd or a new quest unless your 100% confident in surviving there

I wonder if it's a high valued item? Say if I wasn't skulled, would it be worth more than my Berserker Ring? And apart of my top 3 items.

detah items come from gen store prices.

 

 

 

As it cannot be sold there its value in the drop scale, much like all untradables, would be very low or 0. So pretty much anything will protect over it

and if you don't elect an item, it just performs as per usual?

You'd get 50% support, 50% flames, and jagex wouldn't implement it from your thread. Good idea, been suggested before, and didn't really come to much.

 

 

 

But really, fight caves is nowhere near as hard second time round :P you'd have no problem retrieving.

i recently died for a stupid reason (looking at forums while logging in) and lost my cape.

 

 

 

i actually did a /ragequit over that and cancelled my membership for a month.

 

 

 

of course, not everyone is like me, but i'm sure many people remember how frustrating/long it was to get the fire cape the first time.

 

 

 

it costs money, time, and it can easily all be completely wasted if you are a split second late with the prayer switching.

 

 

 

i don't know about you guys, but every time i get to jad, i get nervous. EVERY TIME. I've done him succesfully three times now, but it's still a pain to have to redo all 60ish waves just to get to him. And if you mess up--WUP TOO BAD-- all 60 waves to waste time/cash on again for you. :shame:

 

 

 

But yeah, i've learned to hide my firecape after that... no more bringing it to GWD.

 

 

 

Though i hate the fact that i have to feel limited as to where i can bring my most fav. cape in the game, and that i have to "play it safe" because if i lose it, i'll have to re-accomplish what i've already gained.

 

 

 

The best thing for me would be if Jagex would allow players to simply fight Jad--not the 60ish previous waves before him for the firecape if they've won it already in the past. OR atleast cut the amount of waves, sheesh.
