I think carrot leaves are actually more like grape leaves than cedar leaves if you know what I mean.

The leaves are my only problem too, it looks really good apart from that. Maybe you could make the end of the carrot a bit more pointy though.

Good for a beginner. Nothing really here is a big issue. Everything has already been said. Maybe finish it?

The carrot should be more pointed, and the leaves should have longer stems before they start to get "frilly".

I drew it as I see the carrots I get here normally at a supermarket; They're quite rounded at the end. As for the leaves, I did some research but I didn't see where the leaves connected to the carrot.

EDIT: Is it wrong to adjust the colors of a pixel with hue/saturation? Because I've got serious problems with that shade of green.

As long as the colours stay uniform (same base 3 colours ect) it doesn't matter.

What's wrong with the leaves?

 

 

 

dsavi, the person up above who said to make it a little more pointy is partially right. You might want to make 2 versions of the item, one for those who've seen carrots without rounded-off points, and one for those that have seen it with. As for the leaves, you might want to darken the ones way out on the far end opposite the carrot. I think you're right, and they're a little too bright. :-k
