December 6, 200817 yr I need to cut 1387 yews to fletch for alching to get 63 mage. (wow, that is a mouthful). I was wondering where a good place and world was to cut yews. I'm doing world 2 seer's village, but it doesn't seem very good right now. Any advice? I has herd, that lesser demons, MAY or may not, drop tormented demons. \:D/  :x :D :o  :? 8-) Due to a typo, I am now stuck with 1k dragon darts and no buyer. Can I has bail out from tip.it plox?
December 6, 200817 yr I either cut at the Grand Exchange or at the the Grand Tree. They're close to the bank, and have fewer people than Seers.

December 7, 200817 yr He wants to train woodcutting and fletching, too. There are other skills besides money making. Rimmington is a great place to cut, 4 trees in a clump and easy to get to with dueling rings and skills necklaces. Check out this cool browser gladiator game!
December 7, 200817 yr Rimmington is a nice, quiet place. It'd be good if you did Rocking Out because it sets up a close deposit box for your logs. The Grand Tree is a good spot with three trees near a bank and you could make it four if you could plant a Yew Tree. The basic spots are the one you are currently cutting in and the oness south of the Flax Field. 99 WC - 12/20/08! =D99 Defence - 6/19/09! 44,012 to reach it! Aiming for 2000 Total Lvl!
December 7, 200817 yr My favorite spot is the Grand Tree, but I would recommend cutting eucs instead. They're better woodcutting experience and more profit. Just sell the eucalyptus logs and use the money to buy unstrung yew longbows. If you're dead set on DIY'ing everything, including picking and spinning the flax, then the best place is actually different. You'd chop in the southeastern part of the Grand Tree by the spinning wheels. Pick the flax as you cut, spin it right there at the spinning wheels, bring a knife, and fletch and alch right there on the spot. You can cut down on banking time by doing it all at once and go quicker than if you did em separately. I still recommend going with the eucs though. Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP

I will now drizzle rage dressing onto the salad of fury!
December 8, 200817 yr You only have to do the quest to get access to the bank, but not to cut the trees. If you don't do the quest, the nearest bank is Zanaris or Grand Tree, via the Fairy Ring or the Glider...depending on which one of those quests you've completed and then prefer using. I wouldn't rely on Euc prices though...yews are more abundant.
