December 9, 200817 yr I heard (from compfreak) spiders are very good. 65k xp an hour at 90 + ranged and afk. Or you could do yaks (never done em myself), or aviansies (good profit + decent xp), or ... . A lot of choices. A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!

They are still very cheap, and if they give better xp, why not use them? At 95 + ranged I was getting 45k xp at abby demons with full void, so at dusties, I reckon I could get 50k xp an hour. For many people, sacrificing a little profit for a little more xp is a good idea. Especially considering that dust devils drop charms. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
December 14, 200817 yr Author good suggestions guys.what do you all think about training range with slayer assignments till like 95? Then at 95 use chins to get to 99. The reason i don't want to use chins right now is because I hardly have enough money to buy some chins that would last me an hour :oops: And the slayer assignments might get me some pretty decent cash along the way.
December 14, 200817 yr I look at it this way. My max w/ bronze knifes is 10. My max with broad bolts is 22. Bronze knifes hit 3 times for every one cbow hit. Therefore each 3 seconds I'd have a max of 30 with knifes and 22 with bolts. Plus more hits will normally average better xp because misses matter less. And they wont miss much because you're in d-hides not void. You could do range with slayer but I wouldn't recommend it barring cannon tasks. Its very slow.

Gained a lot of cash from it, and you can stay there forever, only banking when you are full to the brim of ranaars and rune. 91-97 was at avianses and fire giants with the occasional 1.5hr trip to Ape Atol thrown in for good measure. XP rate at avianses was slightly lower than fire giants, but profit was a lot higher. This profit enabled me to go chinning once every 4 hours of avianse training. 97-99 was almost entirely through chinning. The few times I went prior to this was so quick, avianses/fire giants are a drag afterwards. You will get 230k xp per hour easily at 97 range using range pots and a lot more using range boosting prayer and full void. Chinning is expensive, but so fast you can hardly turn down the opportunity.

Also if you could tell me how much it would cost me or how many chins i would need to get to 99 range, please do :D Thanks again :P

December 15, 200817 yr It will take you around 55-60 hours total through chinning from 81-99 at a total cost of 45M (ballpark) Its not very effective unless you are around the 90+ mark though, so I suggest waiting til 93/94 if you are strapped for cash. It will save you around 20M if you wait, though it will require training for an additional 25 days non stop to get there. Training at avianses will net you 200k per hour easily which after 25 days will see you to your goal target of 20M and enoiugh cash to chin to 99 in 5 more days :) A very tidy 1 month goal :) Good luck!
