The task is to craft 196 airs AT ONCE. I doubt that it can be assisted, but can't confirm for sure.

Well i tried to assist for the varrock achievement diary and that didn't work so i am guessing you can't on this one either. Although i can't confirm for this diary.

all tasks cannot be completed while assisted!

You may be able to use evil stews though, you do have 60 rcing and they can boost up to 6. I used them to complete the farming part for the varrock diary.

No, im pretty sure you cant assist because that kind of defeats the purpose of the hard level. Seeing its called hard because it has high skills and quest requirments.

It's presumed by most to be a bug however, since it's been stated in the KB that diaries cannot be assted, so on your back be it. Uness they changed it already, but when it came out you could.

Actually, in past diaries assist has worked for things. For varrock you could assist to make the teletab for example. Assist also works for many quests for one or two requirements.
