Chapter some-thing-or-other

The messenger hurried across the duckboards leading to the old stone tower. Situated on a man-made island out into the ocean, the wizards tower cast an imposing shadow across the dawn sky, a large scar cutting into the otherwise peaceful scene.

Reaching the heavy oak door, the messenger hammered on the door and then leant against the stone, clutching a stitch in his side.

Several bumps came from inside the building accompanied by a long stream of asterisks, footsteps and then an elderly voice spoke.

̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅRing the bell!̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Å̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæand then he even asked the newbies, but even they weren't stu-good enough to take such a deadl-high profile job.̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

Pm me if you need anything proof-read, I may not be very good, but I am always willing to help.

As we walked towards the mainland across the boards, the torches that illuminated the way were simultaneously snuffed out. There was a massive splintering of timber and the wizard̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s tower came away from the boards and drifted gently away. It seemed the Wizards wanted no more part in this conflict.

Draynor was strangely quiet as we made our way through it. The windows were boarded down and no light shone from behind them, and the streets were empty, save for a lost-looking n00b who ran away as we approached, screaming.

Hitchhikers guide is probably one of the funniest books I've read.

Although, after Gaal's reccomendation I didn't go to see the movie, which I thinks a shame.

the Movie was pretty good but not as good as the book (obviously) my favorite one of his books is the Salmon of Doubt though.

Security was seriously tightened in Falador. The situation at the gates was repeated throughout the city; once on the bridge into the white knight̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s castle; again before entering the keep, and a final, thorough search at the door of Sir Varze̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s chamber. My sword was removed and Winter was told to wait outside.

The room beyond into which I was sent was small and dimly lit. A round central table seated a group of armour-clad men at the central table, who talked in hushed voices. A grim and secretive air hung over everything. The knights looked up as I entered, seemed to deem me worthy of no more attention than that, and returned to their council.

Only the man seated at the head of the table rose. He was immediately recognisable as Varze. Though now an old man, he still bore the proud, imposing bearing of a Knight. Crossing the room, he extended a hand, which I shook, trying not to grin stupidly. He̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢d been somewhat of a legend in his time. Some still regarded him as being the greatest swordsman alive.

̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅGlad to have you here so soon,̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

intresting plot twist, now why has smoke gone crazy?

As the door slammed shut I stood there gawping at my situation in general. I get brought back to this craphole from a very nice sunny place and they expect me to somehow organise an army again in order to save a city from an army twice its size.

So far, I figured, I could do it.

And then he dropped the bombshell that my old comrade was commanding the offending army and now they wanted me to just waltz up to him and kill him.

Morally, I don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t think I had a problem. And killing SmokeEagle wouldn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t be too hard: ranger defeats mage after all. I was more bothered about the knights kill ranger part of the triangle and the thousands of Knights SmokeEagle had at his command.

I decided to get a plan of action; I would stroll out of the city dressed as a washerwoman and make my way through the massacre towards the back of the lines in order to find Smoke. When I found him I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢d calmly ask him what the hell he was doing whilst hitting him round the back of the head with something big and heavy.

Simple.

I opened the door and followed Varze out into the courtyard. In the distance I could hear the sounds of battle. They sounded very messy and full of a certain red fluid.

I pulled my backpack off of my shoulders and opened it up; rustling around inside of it to find something that I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢d kept in there for no reason. I grabbed hold of the fabric and pulled it out. Some people nearby stopped to stare strangely at me holding a bright pink skirt.

I never did get round to finishing that quest.

A few moments later I was dressed exactly like an old washer woman; I had a wig, a pink skirt and a basket of apples. The only thing that was out of place was the chain mail vest I was wearing and the bow and arrow slung over my back.

Seeing the gates were closed I climbed up the stairs to the ramparts and nimbly jumped over the wall, not realising it was a twelve foot drop on the other side.

̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅOof!̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

so when do we find out why smoke is evil?

Erm, in about one, two, or three chapters. BTW, SmokeEagle's in America at the moment (yeah, he's in Florida :D) so there'll be no more chapters till monday then a big rush of chapters probably.

Unless he's dead, in which case there'll be no more chapters.

As the teal gradually faded away I was yet again standing in a familiar white area with light mist for floor and three equally familiar figures sitting not far away. They were playing Risk.

Zamorak was the first to notice me standing there. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅOh for my sake! Can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t you stay alive for five freaking minutes?!̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

We're back at the wonderous joy that is school at the moment so the going is likley to be slow for a while whilst we catch up with the homework that we should have gotten done during the holidays.

To keep you interested here's a brief exert from later on in the saga:

------------------------------------------

̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅWe've assembled a crack team for you of course,̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

This is awesome. Keep it up, and btw in some part you spelled Zamorak wrong a bunch of times

you know once, just once, I would like to tell you how horrible this stuff is.

BUT YOU WON"T GIVE ME THE CHANCE!!
