December 28, 200520 yr The defence of Falador, overall, was going pretty well. WeÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢d successfully repelled another attack by SmokeEagleÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s army but, unfortunately, we were losing men very quickly; the bakeries just couldnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t keep up with demand and the grain runs to the farms near Lumbridge were being intercepted at a frightening rate. This meant that only the barbarian mercenaries and the combat veterans were left alive, I figured it was because they refused to pass until they had gotten their payment. Unfortunately, most of the newbies that had been killed were conscripted into the Varrock army when they had resurrected, only a few were making it back after each attack. I squatted on the cloth sack that contained the remnants of SmokeEagleÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s money and bit down on the freshly baked meat pie that had been conjured up to heal the wound in my arm. Bits of a Varrockian soldier had managed to injure me after he had been blown into very small and, most importantly, soggy bits by one of WinterÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s spells. Peering into the distance I could make out the Varrock army forming into ranks, their red on black uniform was quite an imposing sight to behold, I thought, even if it was a stupid tactical error; it made it easier to pick them out on the battlefield and take them out with an arrow.
