Baxe vs 2H (f2p)

Featured Replies

I have a 2h lying around and i wonder if a baxe would be better (for speed NOT shield slot) and is using the crush option on 2h/baxe any good?

EDIT: For PVP

None of them are that fast, what are you trying to train?

IDK about speed but baxe is far cheaper than 2h for 1 less max hit and shield slot. With berserker shield you might get 2h high hits. Hope I've helped you ::'

Well since it looks like you 1 item, I would say b axe. But of course a faster weapon would be better.

I've tried 1 iteming on my pure with a 2h and it didn't work so well. They have so much time to eat/run away between hits.

The best tactic would be to use a scimmy or dagger and switch out a 2h or Baxe for the kill . . . but really they're both about equal if you're one-iteming it. Unless you've got way high strength, they'll probably be too slow to stop your opponent from eating to heal.

2-handers are vastly more accurate than battleaxes. Strength is much more important than accuracy in F2P, but if you're using it as a secondary weapon (which you should) then you'll want a good chance of a KO.

1 itemer=fail

sry just had to put that out there

That is very true.

Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

Its fun on a pure though :D. I'm guessing you haven't tried it on one yet.

Although on mains 70+ its usually just blegh. Full rune doesn't make it fun.

Just use a 2h since your strength isn't very high

Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool

Use a scimmy and carry a 2h with you. That is probably the best thing to do. Baxe is nice when you have high str/attack and are having a deathmatch with someone. Your probably just trying to get hp low and then KO. Unless someone lags or does something incredibly stupid they will easily eat above your max hat during 2h attacks.

>.> I just realized you prefer long swords over scimmies... Either way, I would bring the 2h and another weapon and just take out the 2h to KO.

If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.

^^^At least I'm not the only crazy one
