Featured Replies

alright, so im 52 farming currently, and im shooting for 58. (so i can boost to do the fally diary, only one i need.) if i only plant willow trees every day, do penguin hunting, and do watermellons, how long would this take?

From Willow trees alone, I think you can get roughly 44K exp per day... (6 trees per patch, per day * 5 patches = 30 trees per day * 1456.5 exp per tree = 43,695 exp per day)

Assuming that you need around 100.8K exp until you hit 58 Farming, this should take... 3 days?

So, if you throw in experience from Penguin Hunting, and Watermelons, you're still looking at... under 3 days?

Unless I'm doing my math wrong.

I'm not sure about how long it would take, but perhaps you can also plant fruit trees? It can speed up your process quite a bit.

You could plant Pineapple trees which will allow you to make supercompost easily.

ya, i already have 3 pineapple plants planted and grown. (one died, couldnt buy the melons to protect it. :wall: )

well, is thier anything else i could do to make it easier? like how much of a profit i make from rarrnar runs these days? (with super compost, magic secters)

What, 6 per patch?

You can plant willows twice a day, total of 10 trees. 15k xp.

Watermelons give around 7k xp/run, you can do like 3-4 runs/day so 21-28k xp.

If you were to do pineapples too, that would get you 22.5k xp/day if you plant 5 of em.

I don't think it would take a long time ;)

I personally farm Toadflax. The seeds are roughly 600gp each, and Clean Toadflax sell for about 2.3K each. I usually get around 50 herbs from two trips (I only use 4 patches) and pull in about 110K each time.

I gave up on Ranarrs. Too big of a loss for when my herbs die. I would rather lose 600gp over one of my Toadflax dying.

Willows only take roughly 220 minutes to grow...? In the span of 24 hours (1440 minutes), you can grow roughly 6 trees. (1440 minutes / 220 = 6.5)

Like I said, I may be doing my math wrong. It's 6AM here. I've been awake since like... 2PM, the previous day.

If done correctly you can do willows twice a day with ease (before work and after work). Orange trees are very cheap also. You could get the level needed without boosting if you did willows twice a day and oranges once a day. Throw in some low level herb farming as those seeds are easy to come by and you could get the level in a day or 2, no problem.

Some other avenues is to kill the Jade Vine if you have it, plant limps as you profit from them and they grow very quickly (35 minutes or so), and using bagged plants for construction.

...this is a conspiracy against me.

Seriously, someone must explain this to me.

Because now I feel... stupid o.O

alright, thx for the info!

but.... (theres always a but)

how long would it be if i finished the fremmy hard dairy, and used the 20k exp lamp?

that would mean i need roughly 80k exp till 58ish.

thx, and sorry for all the time questions. :P

5 tree patches, willows take like 4-5 hours to grow. If you plant 5 willows in the morning, you can do another tree run in the evening. Two times a day, total of 10 trees ;)

But... uh... there's 24 hours in a day. So even at 5 hours per tree, you can still get in about 4 runs a day...

You're not telling me you expect anyone to do that, are you? I can do 3 tree runs (maples, only 2 if I plant mages) if I have a day off. No way I'm planning my day around tree runs or getting up at around 2am to do one.

So, in theory you're right. But it doesn't really work like that for most people :P

Haha, it's just habit for me to expect everyone to have weird sleep cycles... like I said, I've been up since 2PM, and it's going on 6:30AM right now.

Pay me no mind...

(I guess I just am used to thinking of 1 day as 24 hours, and not 12 logical hours.)
