Dalton_C_L99
hi, i have a few questions concerning skilling.... 1. What is the cheapest way to get my herblore level up?? I currently have 60 and ever since i hit 60 its been really expensive.... I want to find the potion that will loose me the least money and give good xp, without having to farm my own. 2. I recently achieved 90 ranged. what is the best way to level ranged to 99 without using chins? where should i train, which would also give me good drops? 3. what is the drop rate for a visage from KBD and Irons/Steels? Is it worth me trying to get one in order to get the money for chins for 99 ranged? Or should i try to get a D chain from dusties/Kalphite? thanks Amarteifio
SanNo1
1. prices of potions and herbs fluctuate a lot, so there isnt a single potion thats best all the time. to see which one is the best look the prices up on the ge and compare the losses with the xp gained per potion made. super strength and super restore are usually the best. 2. aviansies arent the best xp/hr ranging, but the money gained can be spend on chins if u want. another way is slayer, it isnt the best ranged xp, but youll also get slayer xp. 3. chances of a visage are very slim, so i dont recommend you trying to get one. with 90 ranged, i'd imagine that you could get the money for a visage much faster with an arma team. There are three sides to every story: There's one side, there's the other, and there's the truth.
ultimatballr
hi, i have a few questions concerning skilling.... 1. What is the cheapest way to get my herblore level up?? I currently have 60 and ever since i hit 60 its been really expensive.... I want to find the potion that will loose me the least money and give good xp, without having to farm my own. -There is something like Serum 207, that is cheap as far as I know, you have to make thousands of them but its very cheap. Cheap and fast really don't go in the same sentence when it comes to herby. Unless the sentence is "Man, I want 99 herblore fast, but I am too cheap to get it... rats. Lol. A friend of mine took a 120m loss just to get 400k exp/hour and 99 herby... Very fast, but cheap?? I think not. 2. I recently achieved 90 ranged. what is the best way to level ranged to 99 without using chins? where should i train, which would also give me good drops? -Like Sanno said, you can go with Aviansies and then use the profits to buy chins. Thats what I was planning on doing. Or you could actually just train on fire giants which is slow exp (maxes at 30k exp/hour, in that range) but I enjoy training there all the time because of the people to talk to and the decent drops. There is also Yaks, which can get very crowded but with the right equipment (Range void, knives and range pots) you can get something like 60k exp/hour 3. what is the drop rate for a visage from KBD and Irons/Steels? Is it worth me trying to get one in order to get the money for chins for 99 ranged? Or should i try to get a D chain from dusties/Kalphite? -NEVER, and when I say never I really mean it. Never camp for a vissage or Dragon chain it's just not going to happen. It could, but the chances of you being "the lucky one" out of the hundreds or even thousands of people that have been camping for those is very slim. Maybe a chain from KQ, but when you factor in the cost of supplies used it won't be that amazing. So in short, NO it's not worth it. thanks Amarteifio Apparently, my signature was to big. SwreeTak
1. I would recommend super strenght potions. I trained my herblore level to 70 not too long ago by making super strenght potions. They don't make you lose much, give good xp and are easy to sell. 2.As said before, go with aviansies or fire giants. 3. If you have got VERY much patience, do it. If you don't want to spend like a month and most probably get nothing for it, don't do it. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
Dalton_C_L99
thanks for advice guys, it really does help.... swedishboy5, thanks especially for the super str pots advice, i should be able to get about 75 herblore in a few days from this method. I have only one more question, what would be THE quickest way to make money with my skills?? I know loads and loads of people come on this forum and ask, but if I want to achieve my goal of 99 ranged through chins, I need to make around 18m cash. Now, I have a few weeks to do this, but I won't be on all day unfortunately. My skills are posted below in my signature Thanks, Amarteifio
Kellis
Aviansies ftw. In 4 hours there I made 1.2 million, which works out to ~300k an hour. I wasn't really trying, though, and with your higher ranged level you'll do quite a bit better. It's also fun! And as to those levels in your last post, it might just be me but I have absolutely no idea what they are . . . . they just look like a jumble of numbers . . . Kellis
Yep, looking at them now, range for you = win. You could consider dragon killing in between Aviansies runs to relieve boredom, but aviansies are going to be very profitable for you. A cheap setup for them will run you <500k (just to pick up a couple god items, that's all), and you can earn that back in under two hours in GWD. For dragons, bank the hides and bones! I recently achieved 90 ranged. what is the best way to level ranged to 99 without using chins? where should i train, which would also give me good drops? aviansies are good, decent exp and great money for ranged 3. what is the drop rate for a visage from KBD and Irons/Steels? Or should i try to get a D chain from dusties/Kalphite? no...visage are extremely rare and so is d chain from both dusty and kalphite... [spoiler=Sig] I like to think of the Dark Bow like a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) - you get one shot and then you're screwed.
Tesset
Even better then aviansies are cave horrors. Aviansies max at about 400k/hour, and caves are a minimum 500k/hour and a half(with bad luck), and are normally 500k/hour. GWD would be even better, but teams are hard to find without 85 range and defence. My skin is finally getting softI'll scrub until the damn thing comes off
Dalton_C_L99
"Who_am_I" cheers for the tip, ive never actually been to cave horrors, so i will try them after this round of aviansies. more suggestions would be appreciated. amarteifio
Jeffwilson99
Yea, Cave horrors can be quite decent, you can range them too if you want, and there are a few safespots you can work them into. They drop lots of high level herbs and seeds, as well as noted teaks, plus clues and of course, black masks. Last time i was ranging there i got a clue and two black masks within about 15 mins of each other. Well of obviously the chances of that a slim, but I would still recommend them.
