ultimatballr
I am a little tired right now but I will give you my best attempt at a good answer. : It depends on what exactly it is you plan on training on. If you are training on something like Yaks, Experiments or Rock crabs, then Void Knight would probably be a good pick up. When you get 85+ in all your melee stats waterfiends are a great place to bunker down with a bunyip and Void melee. However, if you are going for a more traditional way of training like with slayer, then obviously Void melee would not be able to be used (since a black mask is recommended) So in short, monsters where lower defence is needed I believe Void Melee would outshine normal str boosting gear. With slayer though, its a no-no. Depends on which method you will be getting the high combat stats with. Apparently, my signature was to big. tikityler
The time it takes to get the void outways it's benfits imo

AlexDT
Along with a salve amulet (e) and piety, the set is great at the armoured zombies. If you intend to use that method of training, I'd say get it. Plus, it's a good set to have anyway. You may as well get it at some point.
ultimatballr
The time it takes to get the void outways it's benfits imo 8 hours total?? Even if it speeds up the exp/hour by 5k, over the course of training to 90+ you would have made up the 8 hours it took to get it and then increased your exp/hour. Which as we know reduces the amount of time it takes to train further. #-o Total Attack Bonuses: Stab: 0 Slash: 0 Crush: 0 Magic: 0 Range: 0 Total Set Defense Bonuses: Stab: +88 Slash: +88 Crush: +88 Magic: +84 Range: +88 Total Set Other Bonuses: Strength: 0 Prayer: 0 - - - I say, No. Did you forget the invisible bonus it gives? +10% to attack and strength. Based off stats alone none of the void sets would be worth getting. People get them for the invisible bonus not the stats. Apparently, my signature was to big.
