57-61 crafting with bowstrings is bearable and you turn some profit. Just so you have another option though you could look at necklaces/bracelets, it really depends on the price of gems on GE.

Do water battlestaffs, then earth battlestaffs.

Getting to Port Phasmatys is a pain without ectophial. i think you can charter a ship there though.

Yeah, I'm lucky enough to had done the quest quite a while ago. Ectophial is worth doing the quest. :

 

 

 

Bracelets aren't that slow for the amount of money you loose.

Earth battlestaves are easy and good.

I got 55-60 crafting in ~80 mintues with sapphire bracelets. That's definetely not slow.

Much slower than battlestaves.

If you are talking about making the staves and then taking them to obelisks that takes forever

Paired with magic.

And while doing that its still around the same speed as sapphire bracelets

I dont know where the earth obelisk is but it sounds like it would take a while to get 25 uncharged orbs there at a time, while you have hundreds in the bank.

Earth Obelisk is by Chronozan, through the Edgeville dungeon. You can bring 27 orbs at a time (earth staff equipped + 1 space for cosmics) and earth staves are fast,

 

 

 

BUT,

 

 

 

You should only do them with buying the staves from Zaff yourself. Do it, along with the glass, as a daily thing and you'll make a very nice profit off of it. Buying them from the GE = coming out equal at best, or loss at worst. It's fast, but I don't find that it's worth the cost.
