With the internet people will tend to do immature things like this or simply put down others because they could get away with this. It's not like you can get beat up for being an [wagon] to a noob. right? so just ignore these people and realize that they are the idiots. If you are bothered by these people then don't play rs or hang around the internet if it is lowering ur self esteem. People hate on 8 year olds coming on to a game they have no business ruining. The question is, why the hell must annoying kids ages 8-12 come on Runescape and ruin it for all the rest of us? FreezePop91 Posted January 17, 2009 Share Posted January 17, 2009 We pick on noobs for 1 of several reasons 1) We dont want anymore players 2) They ask the questions that were answered on the Tutorial Island 3) We hate it when they follow us asking questions about our armour or weapons 4) They begg for "free" objects 5) They follow you so that they dont log off while they go eat or something 6) They compalin that they are weak and that they need you to assist them while skill, which is not all bad because you get the xp, but still they complain 7) We hate low lvled people complaining when we take their ore/tree/whatever else 8) Grammer ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------END OF LINE------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Act as one for the whole, not as one for yourself. Lower levels talk a lot more and I've picked up some really useful ideas as I've talked away with them. I think with higher levels there are some aspects of arrogance because in some cases they think they deserve some sort of higher standing. Is this warranted? I'm not sure but I don't think I'd feel proud of picking on someone lower level. It's like the bully at school who hopes that one day the victim doesn't hit back. So they try to keep you down. After all some higher level players don't want the lower levels catching them up. It's what they fear the most as they won't be special any more. Wouldn't it be nice to get a potato's perspective on life? He/she/it would be the embodiment of calm. That'd be far nicer to read/listen to than 'r0fl', '0mg' and assorted marks of the most extreme stupidity. Lvl 3 omg rofl!" me "Congrats, I crown thee the bigger nerd!" Not the best line, but it pisses them off. Calling fishing a money-making skill would be an exaggeration. People should be able to tell based on your maturity level.
