ankous ! At my level?

Featured Replies

Should I do ankous for xp ?

Im level 81 combat, and Ive got a salve ammy (not enchanted though)

My stats are 65 def, 65 attk, 67 str, 67 hp

Im working towards a salve (e)

Please tell me if there are better things I can do.

I know about ghostly warriors, but i have yet to do spirit of summer

as I do not have the required levels.

Are ghostly warriors better than ankous ?

yes ghostly warriors are better but if you can't get to them you're better off training on somthing else

get slave ammy (e) before you start training

Yes, but ankous are good too, because of their nice runes drop rate. I can't say if salve works effectively there though, I tried it and saw no difference with a glory.

Get the salve enchanted before you go.

It will defiantly be worth it in the end.

You somehow used it wrong then :P it gives a HUGE boost. The salve (e) is definitly an advantage there. If I were you though I would wait till I had 85+ combat to go there so you can 1 click them, they get very busy and you will have a hard time getting to kill them if you cannot 1 click them.

Salve works on ankous. I think my max hit with a whip is still 23, I can hit 25 on ankous with an unenchanted salve ammy (really got to enchant it). The salve ammy also has the same def bonus as a glory.

I think I need to trash zammy brews O.O

I never saw salve(e) used effectively on NPCs anyway :o

Wait until 85+, what weapon are you using? I had problems when i was a bit above 85 whipping.

Im level 81

4 Attack Levels away from Whipping, but currently Im using a D Scimmy

I would find something else to train up, until you can whip. What armor you wear? I wore DH, and they hit pretty often on me. Great rune drops though and mith ore drops.

Ankou's is a waste of time if looting, but training on them at your level, hmm, I wouldn't do it.
