Yeah, I don't think I'll stress too much about 92 fm unless I can find a viably standable way.

 

 

 

I guess I wont be using orbs, but maybe shades for a bit of fun, I cant see that being fast xp though. I heard that you can earn fast xp by lighting beacons, is that true?

My personal advice, just grind it out with maples. Listen to music, or if you have a large screen/dual screen, watch some videos or movies. Firemaking is one of those skills that requires your full attention almost, so really your best option of still staying focused but not going insane would be music. HARDCORE DEATH METAL!! Nah just kidding, whatever you like. :thumbsup:

 

 

 

P.S. Don't know if you know this, but here it is, when I FM I use two tinderboxes, one in the top of my inventory and one in the bottom, so when I burn through the first half of my logs, I don't have to move the mouse as far. If you already knew, no harm done, if not, you don't have to use it, but I find it helpful.

Are you doing the box method? It takes concentration, so at least it makes it kind of interesting. Not to mention, its much faster and you can do it almost anywhere near a bank.

try to make nice patterns in your inventory by burning the logs in a different order, or change what your wearing to give yourself something new to look at. Going on a drop party world and burning in falador might get you some money while you fm. Also try summoning some lower lvl familiars to make things abit different. It might not help alot but you never know

i also disagree, just try doing some stuff beside the fm... jus like some said allready summ some low familiars to change the view, try out different outfits to see whats nicest etc

Beacons actually don't give less xp, they just give a static amount no matter what kind of log you use. So you get extra xp if you use willows, but less xp if you use yews.

I'm also going for 99 fm. I just got 70, and have enough maples till 79, then I can get gloves and the real fun starts lol!

well they give a small xp bonus but that will only change something if ur going 4 a high fm lvl, if ur only doing some lvls(exept those 90+) it will mather maybe 200 logs. (if ur going 99 its great, u gotta burn like 1-3k less logs what means 1-3h less burning :D )

The release of the Pheonix is exactly what I needed. I'll use that to level fm!
