folmer_veeman
I'm looking for a cellphone, seeing as my current one sucks and my mp3 player broke down lately anyway. So what I'm looking for is - Has mp3 player - Has lots of memory (or supports memory cards) - Looks good - Is not too big - Preferrably also able to play videos - A bit durable (seeing as I'll cycle like 10-15 hours with it in my pocket each week) - Not too expensive (unless it really makes up for it by being great) I've looked into the Iphone, it seems very good but also a tad bit expensive and I don't know whether I should take like a subscription that also gives the phone for free, or just buying the phone (which seems to be a bit more expensive, but doesn't require you to pay every month for 2 years)
Kiriyama
I'd reccomend getting something from the Sony Ericsson W series. I'm currently using a W300i and it suits me perfectly, and has done so for the past two years. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
Bauke
The SE W-series are indeed quite good. I'd take a look at the W910i. Twitter ||| Google+ ||| Facebook ||| LinkedIn ||| My very interesting weblog about science

Mr_Adam
What service would you be using? That's your top priority, before you go into specifics about a phone.
ForsakenMage
The Sony Ericsson W-series are definitely great. Just got the W350i here and it's great. >:) [hide=Sony Ericsson W350] [/hide]It's a flip phone, although the flip is flimsy, so it's not for those who aren't careful and drop their phones a lot. :ohnoes: Only downside to this is that I can't' seem to shuffle my music around so I'm hearing the same artist for like ten minutes. I'll figure it out one day haha. The phone comes with software that you would have to install on your computer if you plan on playing with the phone's files a bit, but it's not insane. :P Fairly simple, almost like the iPod software. It can play videos, but you cannot record videos. Size-wise, its about the same as the new iPod Nano. :P Sony Ericsson themselves make great phones though. They last long, are durable, and look great. :P If your mobile phone service provider is AT&T, you're in luck because they offer a lot of great discounts and free SE phones. :D Adventurer's Log || YouTube || Facebook || Tip.it Times Work || Wanna Join the Editorial Panel?Maxed Out 01 October 2012 PDT

BlueLancer
What service would you be using? That's your top priority, before you go into specifics about a phone. Not really.. Prepaid SIM cards are easily the most convenient way of using cellphones. It's anonymous, no bills, no contract, fixed rates, internet availability, works/activates instantly etc... Just fork up a few bucks, maybe $10-$20 in advance and you're set for a while, especially if you just make a few calls a day & some occassional text messages. There isn't really any logical reason for using a service plan in countries where prepaid is available due to the pros and cons of both options (with prepaid having practically no cons, unless you really want to be listed in a phone directory)
Kirudaymi
I've just got the LG Cookie (or KP500) it's really good. It's mostly touch screen, with three buttons for ending and starting calls. (I haven't quite figured out what the middle one really does, haha.) The only problem might be with the memory, but it supports memory cards.. I guess it's kind of like a cheaper iPhone, and the speakers are pretty good on it too.
