As the title says, I'm looking to quit RS. I might quit till the summer or I may never come back (hopefully it's the latter). In the past, when I quit for long periods of time, I would invest my cash in some items (rares), which would inevitably rise in value by the time I came back. However, at this period in time, I'm not so sure that investing in rares is a good idea (seeing as how rare prices have spiraled downwards in the past few weeks). What I need from you guys is some advice on what to do with my cash. I'm probably going to liquidate all my items (convert them to cash), and possibly invest the cash in a few rares. Would this be a good idea? If yes, what rares should I keep specifically? On the other hand, should I stick to keeping cold, hard cash instead? Is there perhaps something else I could invest my cash in? I'm posting a picture of my BOB as well to give you an idea of my items. I do also have some cash in MTK and various other items. It may be worthwhile to note that I do have a santa, green h'ween mask and easter egg, so telling me whether I should sell them now or keep them would also be helpful advice.

I'd advise gee pee, as the drains from constuction\coinshare seem to be working very well, and there are many (much better) alternatives to alching, making the amount of GP in game lessen and the averagep rice of items drop as a result. Just a trend I've noticed.

Not only because of less cash, but everything is crashing.

If rares are crashing, theres not much to invest in, as allmost everything goes down in price.

Not advised. They've only been rising fairly recently, and when armadyl crashes so does robin. I'm waiting for Jagex to release an update to range boots, ranger boots have been king for too long. I wouldn't invest in them long long term.

Lower priced rares like that tend to be unstable, but haven't been rising in the long term. For an almost guaranteed profit that won't be much of a loss at worst, cash is really going to be your best bet.

Not completely true, as most things in rs drop in value, money gets worth more.

Keep the money.If you ever come back, you'll be happy when you see 50m+ in the bank.
