With my stats, how should I go about defeating the Jungle Demon in the Monkey Madness quest? Should I rush him with DDS and then whip while praying? Or mage him down while praying? Or yet range him down while praying?

I'd say you'll be fine if you use Protect from Magic. take a prayer pot or two, a fair amount of food, and DDS it. If you don't want to do that, range it while using Protect from Magic.

Dude... with your stats you can just kill him with an inv of food like some slayer monster task

Set up a cannon and sit on the edge with protect from magic. It is expensive though.

Okay I'll DDS him with pray, but should I just DDS and not bring a secondary weapon? Or could I DDS and then range?

If you want to avoid taking almost any damage, use your DDS specs and then range, using Protect from Mage the whole time. Otherwise, use your DDS specs and then swap to a better wep using Protect from Mage the whole time. If you melee, you'll probably need more food than if you melee/range.

I'd say range it. It's pretty weak to Range and with Ruby (e) or Diamond (e) bolts, you should be able to down it pretty quickly. Melee is also an option, but I think range would be quicker. Make sure to take a prayer potion or two.

Okay thanks. Yeah I think I'll go with DDS w/mage protect and then switch to mage short w/rune arrows and mage protect. Thanks!

Let the squad do the work for you.

Run over the nearest bridge and run whichever direction will bring the demon into the fire of the squad. Once his hitpoints bar is almost down to nothing, run back across and use the same tactics you were going to use to fight him the whole way.

In either case, if you decide to straight up fight him, do it in the presence of the squad. They'll at least help you. There is no benefit to fighting him all the way as far as drops are concerned.

Yeah I just did it. I used a full bar of DDS spec and then ranged him with a rune crossbow and ruby tipped bolts(e). Easy.
