does anyone know of a good program to find a pass word for my .rar file that is free, it's really annoying me now

So let me get this straight, you put a password on your own .Rar file and somehow forgot it? And now you are looking for a password cracker? I smell media piracy, as you were the same guy who wanted to download more than 1 file an hour.

 

 

 

 

 

On topic: You won't be able to find one. Files that claim to be password crackers are most likely viruses.

Cracking .RAR passwords isn't easy, and is actually illegal. These forums are not the right place for this either, so take your piracy troubles elsewhere please. :thumbdown:

It sounds like you downloaded something that the person you got it from wants you to use there program to get the password intern implanting something on your computer. I would say this is a bad download.

Unless you own the archive & forgot the pass it's not legal to brute force it open.
