I don't think it goes by number of times used but by exp earned. I heard that after like 30k exp it goes back to the sacred clay, but idk if thats b4 or after the doubled amount or if thats even the right amount

Then it must be the armor and weapons that get the 28k exp, thought it was same for the tools but i was wrong. (What a shocker)

I know its 32k for the hammer, i've trained from 74-78 smithing in 1 day

Whoops heard people say 14k xp thought it meant double it to find total xp.

Yesterday I got around 60k from 4 sc picks, so the 7/14k sounds right.
