Championfurydelta123
Hey, I have two questions about full void wearing the range helmet... 1. What bonus does it give again? +10% to range? 2. What level would you recommend to start using full void (range) because I was told by my friend that I shouldn't use full void (range) until I got a higher range level than 72 because it has almost no range attack bonus at all. Italian5kamikaze
Yes, 10% to accuracy and damage. I suggest waiting until 80 but if you do use it you're going to need the items that will give you a good bonus such as snakeskin/ ranger boots, archer ring, fury/glory, and zammy book. Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.
Aslan
I was ~level 85 when I started using it so can't give an accurate answer.Test it a bit though?Take d'hide and void to the same monsters and see how you kill it faster.
nicrune007
1. The damage increase is more like 25%, from like 28 with pot to 34 with pot. 2. Use it as soon as you can, because crossbow has high enough range bonus. dorcus1
My general rule is this: if you hit 0's more than 50% of the time with void range, definitely switch to black dhide. If you hit 0's less than 20% of the time with void range, stick with void range. If you hit 0's between 20% and 50% of the time... well, that's when you use your powers of thinking. Void is good for power. Black dhide is better for accuracy. Switch to void when you don't need the accuracy that black dhide offers. Use void on monsters with low def, and black dhide on monsters with high def. I've heard players suggest lvl 80 for void, but it's still highly situational. Generally, the better your range lvl, the more you use void range. I personally use black dhide at brutal green drags, while using void range at most giants. homowz
use void on monsters like yaks(allmost no def) and use bronze/iron knives. when u get like 75-80 void can be use anywhere since ur lvl is high enough to not miss alot [hide]visage drop 11/01/09goals:all skills 70+ (completed)all skills 80+98% Of teenagers surround their minds with rap music, if you're part of the 2% that stayed with rock, put this in your signature, ROCK IS BETTER![/hide]
ultimatballr
At 94 range I use void pretty much religiously anywhere I go. The only place I use Karils (dhide whatever) is at Arma and Sara GWD. I would say once you hit 90 range you can use void generally everywhere. Before that it may be best to stick with Dragon Hides. As for when you can start using it, that's debatable I would say as soon as you can. It seems to be well worth it over dragon hides in most situations. Apparently, my signature was to big. Championfurydelta123
Okay, thanks guys I've almost got full range void just getting the helmet as I already had the melee set. Hmmm I think I'll take knifes and train at yaks  By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest. - Confucius
