gorgoroth
Well a day ago i was thinking of saving up for Bandos. Its going good so far. I have saved up 2.5mil in one day so far. But now something is bothering me. By the time i have Enough money to buy Bandos i will most likely have 99STR, 95ATK and 95DEF. Then my goal of 99RNG still remains. I got to thinking why not buy Armadyl Armour instead of Bandos. Armadyl is the best ranging Armour money can buy, but is it decent for melee? Im going to want to get 99ATK and 99DEF sooner or later and i might not have enough money to buy Bandos and Armadyl unless i decide to get 99RNG at Aviansies. So my question basically is, is Armadyl decent for melee too? **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
Johannas
It gives no strength bonus, and it's melee attacks are all negative (-5, -6 and -7) Bandos on the other hand... Has better strength bonuses, equal prayer bonuses and better defence stats... Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!
Amaranth_GTO
I'm guessing bandos armor would be better for melee. If you get the 99's you want and then want to move onto some ranging, you can always sell the bandos.
ilovecardj
Id suggest getting void range when you level range, its alot better then arma Dragon Drops: 80+ boots, 7 med, 3 skirt, 2 left half, 2 Spear, 2 2hSlayer: 30+ whips, 4 Bows, 1 Mask, 3 Granite Legs, 1 Visage (Wyverns)Notable GWD Splits: Bandos Tassets: 12, Bandos Chest: 11, Bandos Hilt: 2Proud Slayer of 99 Att/Str/Def/HP/Range/Summoning
mister_moocky
Why would range armour be good for melee? Armadyl is best used where you need magic defense, or used in conjuction with melee armour for tanking. Void is the best range training armour. Also, skills > items; if buying bandos is going to take all your cash, then don't buy it. quit
Deathmath
Id suggest getting void range when you level range, its alot better then arma That's debatable... But generally yes. Get bandos, It's not like you have to keep it Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again

homowz
not realy, just go on the rsof and type in 'pest control clan'. then ull find MPC(1 of best pc clans). i dont know if ur allready 109 f2p cb but when u got ur melee goals ull probably will. that way u can easely get enough points in 2-3 days [hide]visage drop 11/01/09goals:all skills 70+ (completed)all skills 80+98% Of teenagers surround their minds with rap music, if you're part of the 2% that stayed with rock, put this in your signature, ROCK IS BETTER![/hide]
bedman
Dont get bandos, dont get Arma. Both not really worth it. On the other hand, you can just sell them if you dont like it, so no money lost. With a clan it'll take considerably less time. Pirate Rosetta stone. Learn a language while you scape.Sounds interesting, but these days how many people really speak Pirate?
