January 13, 200917 yr I sort of have a little financial crisis going on. Here goes. I have a pure and i mostly train on him. i did not really have time to get money even from drops i only have 120k. with a scim and rune pick and thats pretty much about it. When i get bored of training str i need something to do and that something should be to make money. the only real noncombat skill i have is 51 mining and 55 cooking (but im not sure wat i can even do with cooking) and 40 crafting for the crafts guild i am f2p and i narrowed myself to two logical options. mine gold in the crafts guild and bank at falidor. people are there but i can get a good load on a pvp world  :-$ this gets me 500gp per ore which is roughly 14k per load. or... it is to go mine iron is sw varrock. this gets me 100gp per ore which is roughly 2.8k per load. now it seems like an easy answer, but the logic is ... i mine iron much much faster than gold. gold is populated and takes a bit to respawn... besides iron will be good for my xp in a longterm... but still its a bit iffy. remember i want money but xp is good too. which one is it. i am currently going to mine iron...
January 13, 200917 yr I would say start with mining iron until you get to 60 or so mining before trying gold. When you hit 60 it will be much easier to obtain and outmine others if needed. But using the crafting guild gold ore is an excellent way to make gold and raise mining in f2p. \
January 13, 200917 yr Iron would be a better idea than gold. The faster experience would be a good investment, because it would let you mine runite eventually, if you kept at it. Runite is the best money in f2p. As for what you can do with cooking, well, anchovy pizza works pretty well. Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP
January 13, 200917 yr When i was F2p i used a few different methoids for money making. 1 was of course mining but that uindustry seems to have gone down in yield recently and you'll be lucky to be making more thank 40k per hour. One of my methods was telekentic grabbing or simply taking (this will require killing all of monks) zamorak wines Zammy wines sell on the GE for approx 800ea and respawn in 4.5 seconds. It is a short wildy run to edgeville bank and your yield can be over a 100-150k per hour if you find a world with no others (not as difficult as with mining). I hope you consider the idea as it helped me greatly Matt the cup Barrows: Dharoks Greataxe, verac's Flail, Bolt Racks, Dragon MedKBD: 1 X Draconic Vissage (50-50) (18/5/09), 2 X KBD heads(26/5/09 and 11/06/09) 4 X Dragon Med, dragonstone,Treasure Trails: Rune items: 99+, Sara Shield: 1, Guthix Pl8: 1, Saradomin Stole: 1, Sara page, zammy page 2, Random items eg Mahogony Planks/runes: Countless:PPvP items: 1X Dark Bow, 3X Dragon items, 1X corrupt dragon dagger, Mny rune/random items
January 13, 200917 yr i would go for the iron and keep any gems you get and leave them uncut and sell them aswell. http://www.clanhavok.net/
January 13, 200917 yr I'd definately go with the iron, it'll be a lot quicker I think. Woodcutting does not raise your combat level because most people do not play as yew trees.
January 13, 200917 yr Author okay ill stay with iron. i think reunite will be pushing it because it is a pure after all and i seriously doubt that i will have that kind of patience.
