a person by the name of jag tommy. I know he wasnt a player because He was on a server called brick1 .

 

 

 

He asked me for my account details :wall:

 

 

 

I went to meet him in game and he had a yellow crown next to his name.

 

 

 

He thought i was doing something illegal, so he asked me questions and I answered.

 

 

 

I cant log back in now.

Ok, to make it simple for you guys to understand, here is a timeline.

 

 

 

10:40, "jag" contacts me

 

10:42 I have answered his questions

 

10:43 I cant log, in my password is not accepted (he couldnt have changed the password and recoverys in this time)

 

10:45 Iam on these forums.

 

10:46 I submit a stolen pass appeal.

 

10:50 Iam here typing this.

You know jagex says everywhere that jagex mods will never ask your account details?

 

 

 

Anyway, if you think you are banned, look around in the account management part of the site and see if you were banned, and if you were see what you got banned for.

what does it say when u try to log on? like "invalid username or pass" or "This account is banned" or something like that?

it says invalid username/pass

im pretty sure this was someone impersinating a mod then, and theyve stolen your account. once another person has ur recovs they can chage ur pass in less then a minute...

How can anyone be stupid enough to give away their password? As stated 100 times over, a Mod well never ask you for your account information. Anyway, he's obviously changed your password, so you can't log on; if you were banned, it'd say so, not just "incorrect password." Click on "recover a lost/stolen account" or whatever it says on runescape's site, and do what it says. Since you've apparently set recoveries, it shouldn't be a problem to get it back. You said he had a yellow crown beside his name; this is a lie. If you want help, don't bend the truth to make yourself feel better.

So go to account management, recover password.
