TheLad1
I've now managed to accumulate 5826 Slayer Points & was looking for some guidance as what to do with them. ie. Should I turn them into Slayer Dart runes or continue to let them increase until I finally get 99 Slayer - I'm not going to waste them on XP. I have 'learnt' how to make all the Leaf Bladed Bolts & Arrows etc. By my calculations I could buy 160 sets of the Slayer Dart Runes (keeping some points back in case I want to cancel a task), which would equate to: 40000 Death Runes 160000 Mind Runes The mid GE price of 271gp for Deaths & 9gp for Minds would give me 12,280,000gp (on the assumption they sell). My question is - Do they sell at these prices & in these quantities, as I do not want to be stuck with that many runes. Another thought is that Jagex may well introduce another upgrade to Slayer (hopefully with a Lvl 95 Monster) that requires a very large number of points to purchase? Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.
dirk4slayer
The Runes do sell (Deaths almost instantly, you'll have to wait for the Minds), and so far Runes are the best to spend the points on. Also, I doubt a new Slayer monster would require points to be "purchased". Chuck Norris doesn't ever need a compass; he randomly points somewhere and north goes there in order not to anger him. JohnPax
1. Cancel all tasks you hate. 2. Slayer helm 3. Ring of Slaying 4. Points. ^That's the best to do for slayer in the long run.
cat666
If you have all 3 things learned and all 4 tasks you hate blocked then spend them on runes. I spend mine when I get to 1k points, leaving 90+ for skipping tasks. If there are any future updates it won't be many points required. Trust the Gene Genie! brunokiller
I spent my 5300 slayer points on runes, got 12m, the death runes sold pretty well, the minds took about two weeks. My blog
aspeeder
Until I get 75 crafting to make rings of slaying all I'm spending them on is the darts, either to sell or use in barrows. Since there's nothing better to use the points for buy slayer darts and save some to cancel tasks. http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/aspeeder/Siggy_zpsewaiux2t.png 99 Strength since 6/02/10 99 Attack since 9/19/10 99 Constitution since 10/03/10 99 Defense since 3/14/11 99 Slayer since 8/30/11 99 Summoning since 9/10/11 99 Ranged since 09/18/11 99 Magic since 11/12/11 99 Prayer since 11/15/11 99 Herblore since 3/29/12 99 Firemaking since 5/15/12 99 Smithing since 10/04/12 99 Crafting since 9/16/13 99 Agility since 9/23/13 99 Dungeoneering since 1/1/14 99 Fishing since 2/4/14 99 Mining since 2/28/14 99 Farming since 6/04/14 99 Cooking since 6/11/14 99 Runecrafting since 10/10/14 9 Fletching since 11/11/14 99 Thieving since 11/14/14 99 Woodcutting since 11/20/14 99 Construction since 12/03/14 99 Divination since 2/22/15 99 Hunter since 2/23/15 99 Invention since 01/20/17 99 Archaeology since 5/14/22 99 Necromancy since 11/22/25 Quest Point Cape since 08/20/09 Maxed since 2/23/15 Fire Cape since 02/27/13 Slayer: 3 Leaf-Bladed Swords, 8 Black Masks, 2 Hexcrests, 26 Granite Mauls, 5 Focus Sights, 33 Abyssal Whips, 9 Dark Bows, 1 Whip Vine, 3 Staffs of Light, 15 Polypore Sticks Dragon: 10 Draconic Visages, 7 Shield Left Halves, 20 Dragon Boots, 40 Dragon Med Helms, 8 Dragon Platelegs, 6 Dragon Spears, 20 Dragon Daggers, 5 Dragon Plateskirts, 1 Dragon Chainbody, 63 Off-hand Dragon Throwing Axes, 19 Dragon Longswords, 27 Dragon Maces, 1 Dragon Ward Treasure Trails: Saradomin Full Helm, Ranger Boots, Rune Body (t), Saradomin Vambraces, Various God Pages Misc:1 Onyx,1 Ahrim's Hood, 1 Guthan's Chainskirt, 1 Demon Slayer Boots

SanNo1
Im a newb but how do you get those points? You need to do smoking kills quest or something? yes, after you've completed smoking kills you get points after each task you complete, (except for the first 4 tasks.) the amount of points u get each task depends on the master u use There are three sides to every story: There's one side, there's the other, and there's the truth. C-J_Mulder
darts all the way, I cashed in 4.5k points for dart myself :P
Bouwzie
If you don't skip alot (it seems you don't), you should spend them on magic darts, or wait until 99 and spend them on darts then. Deaths will always sell for minimum price, minds will take a while.
