johnisfun987
I'm not sure if i should go for a 99, and idk how long it will take me. I was thinking about theiving, but thats proabably the only one i could stand. I also liked hunter, but chinchompas are boring (70 hunt). I also need a decent way of making money, but ive never tried gwd. Also need to get 61 crafting-for lunar dip-but i want fast, low expense .

Seraphi
dont go for a 99 for the cape this. never get a 99 for the sake of it. get a 99 because you enjoy the skill, or to trim a cape of a skill you enjoy.

duncmac
the problem with the yak hide idea is its useless because you essentially take a loss unless you know someone wiling to buy multiple millions gp worth of yak legs. i have a crafting guide, which you can fiind under archive of wisdom > general guides. i would throw in the possibility of either glass items or EMERALD BRACELETS. mmm bracelets ftw. ok now on the 99s? for speed? fletching, firmaking, cooking, hunter, theive, range (if you can afford 40m in chins), woodcut. as for profitable 99s? melee skills, range (with bronze knives on dropping monsters), fishing, mining, hunter, woodcut. i have 99 craft and im now working on 99 hunter, and it IS tedeous, however it is hugely profitable. if you want a trimmed 99, i'd advise cutting willows and maple to 99 and burning them all. but what it really comes down to is finding a skill you enjoy, getting into the grove of it, and doing it until you hate it, and then some. it pays off in the end. best of luck. 2678th to 99 crafting.visit my blog! Zierro
He only wants 61 Crafting though - not 99. It wouldn't be that much of a waste of money. As for the skill cape, pick a few skills you would consider getting to 99. Then train each of them for about an hour. Rate them out of 10 based on how much you enjoyed training it. Compare the results and pick the one with the highest fun factor and also try to keep the benefits in mind. (Does it make money? Is it fast?) cat666
4 reasons to get a 99 cape. 1. Kudos 2. Fun 3. Profit 4. Stats 1. Kudos - You get the cape cos it make you look good to your peer. For example my friend got her first 99 as farming. Just so she can show off an untrimmed farming cape. 2. Fun - If you enjoy it, enough to repeat it lots and lots, then go for it. 3. Profit - If you can profit from it, then you can use it to build up some cash. 4. Stats - If you are too low combat or too lazy (like me) to do the Fight Caves then you may want to get a cape for the stats. Trust the Gene Genie!
