January 20, 200917 yr So is Kaka really going to Manchester United? I am Teh_King[My dA][My Last.FM][My Twitter]
January 20, 200917 yr Author Idk, why would ac milan sell him anyway, that's like chelsea selling frank lampard or aston villa selling ashley young. IF ac just want the money they are just dumb, sell one of your best players for 18 mil pounds. When kaka is worth his weight in gold x2
January 20, 200917 yr First of all, its Manchester City and turns out Kaka isn't going any more http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story ... rs&cc=3436 and it isnt for 18M, infact 107M. If I were AC Milan management, I would sell him and I could get back 4 to 5 YOUNG world class players to replace the aging likes of Maldini, Shevchenko, Seedorf, Inzaghi etc
January 20, 200917 yr Would be great if you made this a little more general rather than just about the EPL. There are quite a few European football fans out there too. Would gather a bit more discussion I think. (even though the last one died off a couple of months ago.) See: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=762754 Anyway on topic, good to see Utd back where they belong. :)
January 20, 200917 yr Hard to see past Man United winning the league really. Although they aren't really playing great (from what I've seen) they keep winning and last minute winners like the one at Bolton at the weekend must be so demoralising for their title rivals. Liverpool have chocked, pretty much as expected and Chelsea just don't really look up to it. I stuck £2 on Aston Villa at 80/1 about a month ago lol, I know the chances are somewhere around zero, but it would still be ace for them to win it and they have been pretty consistent. Man City are a total joke at the moment too, after Kaka rejecting them, it's just come up on Sky Sports News that Robinho has walked out on their training camp in Cyprus and gone back to Brazil. I also don't really know what Hughes is playing at, I know Kaka would have been the board's signing, but Bellamy is seemingly Hughes' signing and £15million for a 29 year old striker who is good but not a world beater is stupid. Surely they should be looking at higher calibre players than Bellamy. They should also be going for defenders, Bridge is a good start but they need to get a pair of top centre backs. Upson would be a good signing and is used to the EPL. I also thing someone like Mexes from Roma would be a good shout, top draw centre back who they could probably get for £20mil. Obviously I should be Man City manager.
January 21, 200917 yr Haven't been following football much due to losing interest it, still do watch the odd high level game (any of the good premiership teams playing each other ie Man United v Chelsea) and like any natural Irishman I watch Celtic whenever they're on : Is nice to see United back on top though with a game in hand. Scouser scum don't belong there
