It's a real nice interface for beginners, and it's really idiot proof (you don't even need to know what FTP is). If you're serious about your site though, the $5 bucks a month goes a long way (not sure on the really good/cheap pay host servers). Like rocketman089 said for $5 a month you can get your own .com and webspace with support.
