January 25, 200917 yr ok im going for 99 hunter(should take around 2-3 weeks) and i was just wondering which i should get the dragon chain armor set(l) or a Barrows set(verac's,Dharok's,Guthan's) i know for sure im going to get a BGS for a weapon and i have 5.3m in the bank so i will have around 33m when i get to 99 hunter possible more. any idea's on which one i should get is highly appreciated
January 25, 200917 yr "Don't count your chickens before they hatch". For the barrow set I would go for guthans as dragon just fails compared to barrows and is a load cheaper to get.

January 25, 200917 yr Veracs has the ability to hit through prayer and gives good prayer bonus. Also looks better than Guthans.
January 25, 200917 yr Just get the plate and legs. Use a whip for your weapon, it's better. Helm of neitiznot works better for the helm too, although you could use Verac's Helm if you aren't doing the quest. Verac's Helm + Verac's Skirt + Guthan's Platebody would prolly be the best choice. January 25, 200917 yr Guthans. If you are training with a BGS then get a whip and rune defender instead cos it's faster. Trust the Gene Genie!
January 25, 200917 yr Does not provide nowhere near as much defence though... it may not provide as much but surely verac can kill guthan,dh,torag in a fight meaning its more dominate for pvp
January 25, 200917 yr i think dh can kill verac that could only happen if dh pulls out a 60 when hes low in most cases verac will win 9 times out of 10
