Dutchmen24
I know that strength raises your maximum hit, but does it also increase the chances of hitting higher attacks? ex. Player with 99 strength generally hits in the teens, while player with 50 strength generally hits 5-10.
tigershelby2
str increases how high you hit not how often you hit high Barrows: Verac- Helm, Brassard x 2,Torag- Body, HammersKaril- CrossbowGuthan- BodyAhrim- Hood, Staff
mlskid
no, but attack does that. Higher the attack, the higher the chance of you hitting. The only reason you see those higher levels hitting high often is because of A.) good stats. and B.) higher strength combined with attack. pinguimmaiden
How often you hit = attack. How hard you hit = strenght.
Dutchmen24
so does high attack also mean you hit high more often? ex. lvl 99 attack means you rarely hit 1's and 2's
mlskid
so does high attack also mean you hit high more often? ex. lvl 99 attack means you rarely hit 1's and 2's No, it simply means that you will do damage. not just high damage but damage. Example) If I had 99 attack, but only 1 strength, I would hit 1 VERY OFTEN, but I would NEVER be able to hit a 2 because of the strength level. Generally if you have a higher level of strength though, you will stop hitting those 1's and 2's simply because there is a lower chance of you hitting that number. EDIT: This example is all in THEORY, not in reality. If you have a decent amount of strength with a higher attack, then you are going to hit higher more often than someone with the same amount of attack and yet a lower strength. It's all to do with BOTH Attack and Strength. Summoning help:[hide=Wio, lol][/hide]
pinguimmaiden
so does high attack also mean you hit high more often? ex. lvl 99 attack means you rarely hit 1's and 2's Yea, after i got 95 attack i always hit at least 22+, with very few 0's or lower hits :)

Attack just determines how much times you'll hit 0 or something. Whether you hit 15 or 18 depends on your Strength entirely. GameSock
For the sake of workable numbers: (attack excluded) You can hit maximum 99 damage your str is 1 There is a 1% chance of you hitting any rnadom damage between 0-99. your max. hit is still 99 your str is 99 There is still a 1% chance of you hitting any random damage between 0-99. I hope this clears things up for you
