January 28, 200917 yr Yes ectofuntus is higher exp but slower exp. Its like 300 or 350% for gilded and 350 or 400% for ecto.
January 29, 200917 yr ecto is way slower than glided.. you gotta climb down and get the slime, grind the bones, and then worship. compared to just worshipping the bones.

January 29, 200917 yr it does save quite a bit on cash as it would save me aboiut 1.5mil if i went for 80 prayer, but then agian the extra time it takes to grind the bones an collect the slime you could probaly make that money back, in my opinion just use a guilded altar if you can
January 29, 200917 yr I'm not gona do the math for you but guilded altar is much better. The extra time that you spend using the ectofungus instead of an altar could easilly be spent gaining back the 15% higher cost of the guilded altar, It's something like if you can make more than 80k an hour guilded altar is better. January 30, 200917 yr You use to be able to buy the slime buckets things from the traders at the ports (This is when they were first released...haven't really traded with them since).
January 30, 200917 yr Grinding bones at ecto have been updated to be more secure (Grind all). As everyone said : ecto if you alck bones/cash, POH altar for speed. But nowadays, dragons have become fast to kill so POH is better imho. Marrentil is easy to gather, you can also farm some. A reason to pick them when possible. Oh baby light the dark side...
