Slayer

I know slayer is a slow skill. I know it wont change. But what I would like to know . . . Is there anyway to speed it up a little? Really, The pace at which I'm getting exp is . . . Maddening. :wall:

Besides canonning, making sure you get max kills per hour is vital. So pot up, piety flash if you can, waste as little time as possible picking up drops, etc. You'll spend more on pots, cballs ( EXPENSIVE!) but the xp comes a bit faster.

 

 

 

It stresses me out to level like that, si I do slayer at a slower pace..

Don't see it as training slayer. Train melee via slayer. That way the slayer levels become a bonus.

1.5M slayer exp isn't that bad. A few weeks with your combat level playing reasonable hours.

 

 

 

Try doing 85-99.

In my opinion it is one of the most rewarding skills out there.

Super Sets, Black Mast/Slayer Helm, Familiars, Cannon and Chaos Tunnels, they all speed it up, but there isn't a super fast way of levelling slayer.

It speeds up once you have the right quests done, max stats, and know what you are doing. For example if you take a bit of time and do the quest to access mutated bloodvelds that helps alot. You dont have to fight the noobs in the tower and you can cannon them for insane exp.

 

 

 

Just keep training slayer, it speeds up a bit.

 

 

 

Make sure you block steel dragons, they are a bad task.

The topic starter is maxed out in melee skills. So there isn't a lot of profit to be had from raising skills.

 

 

 

I like the psychological types of advice mentioned in this thread. See slayer as a bonus to the combat experience. etc.

 

 

 

But then again, he is already maxed out.

I'd really rather not. I've got poo loads to do before I even attempt that :twss:. But it is in my future, unfortunately. hah. keep the help coming please. I'd still like to know more ways to speed up the process a bit more.

No, because the vast majority of the time I spend on here I'm at work and behind a firewall which bans things with "runescape" in them. Most sigs don't show for this reason. :(

 

 

 

Slayer wise I keep pausing. On a bit of a run currently so am hoping for some decent XP before I get bored of fighting again. That said I need to do some mining and theiving...
