February 6, 200917 yr Hey guys. If anybody could provide me with somewhat accurate estimates for the XP and GP per hour made monkfishing, that'd be great. I searched for a while in the Archive of Wisdom and General Guides forum but didn't find anything. Thanks guys! Click Here for my RSOF 99 Construction G&A thread! Post your support!
February 6, 200917 yr Not sure on the gp.. I believe I remember people saying 400 monks an hour is possible which actually turns out to be 48k exp. So with 400 an hour that makes 120,400 gp/hour. (Monks 301 each, Friday, February 6, 2009) I can remember someone specifically correcting me and saying its 400 monks an hour but 48k exp/hour seems like a bit much for fishing. Can anyone confirm or disprove my numbers? Apparently, my signature was to big.

Can anyone confirm or disprove my numbers? I agree with ultimatballr, those numbers are pretty close to around there. Although i do find those numbers to be more likely to happen with 99 fishing. Also the less you pay attention and the lower your level, the lower your fishing xp, and gp per hour will be.
February 6, 200917 yr At 91 fish I tested monks and got around 32k xp per hour, so a little less than 300 monks per hour. At that time, that would give around 105k gp per hour, less than sharks, but more than lobbies and swordies/tunas. February 6, 200917 yr After seeing ultim's post, 400 monks per hour is probably something achievable with 99 fish, potting/pieing a lot and with the best fishing familiar possible (granite lobster). I can't confirm this though. February 6, 200917 yr I've been getting like 290-320 monks per hour going from 88 to 91 without familiars or pots. I'd say 310 is the average when I'm paying attention, but I'm always doing homework/cooking/ironing my clothes so I sometimes idle for some time before I notice. It's really good for multitasking. You just have to have some wireless headphones so you can hear when you're not fishing and when you get a random. (And you also have to not be stupid enough to leave your mouse next to the iron when ironing -.- )
