I'm almost 88 fishing and I just want to know how long it would take me to reach 99, estimated, of course. I practically no life it during the week, (weekends I don't usually play at all- I have a long distance relationship so I travel 300 miles each weekend to see my girlfriend :-X) But Monday-Thursday I play roughly 10 hours a day. Give or take a bit.

 

 

 

I'm just wondering how many hours it would take doing it any method that is recommended:

 

 

 

Monkfish?

 

 

 

Barbarian fishing?

 

 

 

Fly fishing?

 

 

 

I prefer monks, for making money along the way. However, I may alternate (I can't always pay as much attention as barbarian fishing requires) between monks and barbarian. ANY help is appreciated. Thanks all!

To be perfectly honest, that's just rude.

 

 

 

99 fishing took me most of my summer (shilo mainly - I preffered the less concentration needed)

 

 

 

as a very rough estimate, work out exp to go/40,000 = hours to go.

Barbarian fishing is like mining now, you fish a load, then drop it all. It's an extra 5k exp an hour than shilo, so maybe what 10 less hours? Shilo does bring in a little money though, and barb loses a couple million for bait I believe. It's up to you.

I'll keep this simple.

 

 

 

Monkfish- about 30k+ hr an hour and great profits (for fishing).

 

 

 

Fly Fishing - best fishing xp, not great profit, but still a profit and possibly cheap cooking experience

 

 

 

Barbarian Fishing - worse experience than normally fishing (a bit slower, but not much slower), but also extra agility and strength experience (good for if you dont like training those skills).

It's probaly because I fish in a relaxed manner watching TV and stuff at the same time, I do not fish that intently as to switch spots that quick as and when they move etc...

We are very happy together. :)

 

 

 

Anyway. Fishing. I'm thinking I'll do monks only when I have other things on my priority list, such as studying or writing papers :-P Any time that I can I'll probably do barbarian fishing. (Money isn't that important-- I've always been able to manage on a small budget. I wouldn't know what to do if I had a lot of money)

BTW I just got 37k xp in an hour watching a movie.

Like you said later on, it must be because you don't keep 100% screen attention. I tested at 90 fish and got 32k xp per hour with fish potion, but without a familiar to boost it up. I expect getting around 35-36k per hour with granite lobster at my current lvl.
