February 13, 200917 yr OK, well this new Soul Wars mini game allows you to obtain the new pet (Minitrice; the Pet version of the all to familiar Cockatrice) It just so happens that I have a Cockatrice head in my bank, and I am wishing to use it to obtain this cool pet, rather than use it in my POH. One thing that has me pondering the thought of getting it however, is the fact I have to feed the Minitrice with Limpwurt Roots, which are around 800gp each. My questions: 1) Will I always have to continue feeding it? 2) How often will I need to feed it? (I like to save as much money as I can :P) 3) What happens if I refuse to feed the pet at all? Thanks in advance - Nucking :)
February 13, 200917 yr its just like any other pet.. 1) only till it gets bigger (if it grows to adult though it should since its basically a pet) 2)dunno time wise.. if youve ever had a pet its the same time i believe 3)it'll run away :/ xturtx - range tank:
February 13, 200917 yr its just like any other pet.. 1) only till it gets bigger (if it grows to adult though it should since its basically a pet)don't think so: it says "n/a" for grown status, so my bet is (with hands at least) you have to keep feeding it! 2)dunno time wise.. if youve ever had a pet its the same time i believe 3)it'll run away :/ First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me.
February 13, 200917 yr Author Well what got me confused is that on the Runescape Game Guide http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarticle.ws?article_id=596 It has N/A for all of the Slayer Pets under adult stage - Does this imply it will never grow to an adult form? meaning I therefore have to constantly feed it?
February 13, 200917 yr Yes. And any pet released after Summoning (everything except cats) will continue to eat after they've grown to be adults. Minitrices are no exception (well, they don't have adult forms, but they will still require food). With hunger setting in every 30 (?) minutes, you really have to make a decision whether or not you're prepared to feed him.
