February 23, 200917 yr I suspect I'll be getting something along the following: 10k Gold Ammy's (for exp) or Necklaces (for money) Should I A) create 10k gold ammy's and sell unstrung on the GE B) create 10k gold ammy's, string them, and sell on GE/Varrock Rogue C) create 10k gold necklaces and sell them on GE/Varrock Rogue D) a combination (50:50 or something like that) What should I make with Gems (Saphire through Diamond) with the primary intention of monetary gains? Should I enchant them? And finally, what should I sell them for? Currently I do: For saphires, I make necklaces and enchant them, then sell part of 'em For emeralds, I make rings and enchant them, then sell 'em For rubies, I usually make ammulets and echant them, then sell 'em For diamonds, well, I can't make ammy's yet so I don't use 'em yet (2 levels short) EDIT: Should have given more info on my acquirement of gold: I currently am mining to 85 with gold, and will smelt 'em with the gaunts (77 smithing her i come \) I just didn't know what I should do exactly with all the frigging gold bars lying around while I can craft them into stuff. February 23, 200917 yr Either way its very slow exp. If your looking to make money flax is a lot quicker and still give a nice bit of exp. If your looking for exp do the highest leather (including dragon leather) or glass item you can. Gold smithing is only worth it if you've already got the gems and are planning on enchanting them. Otherwise its very slow, 13 per inventory as well as running to the bank and re-stocking 2 different items. February 23, 200917 yr smelting all those 10k bars into items would be very boring (trust me, i know) and the xp/h is low -.- you better craft some d-hide bodies or spin flax. Almost every other method is faster :lol:
February 23, 200917 yr If your only choice is gold-crafting, then I say you do A. Stringing takes way too much time with barely any xp. And ammys are at least a bit faster xp than necklaces.
February 24, 200917 yr i did ammys from 50-66 and it was brutal do emerald ammys (u) and sell on ge half the profit doublish the xp 1100 total achieved 03/02/09 880thousandth to reach it :P1200 total achieved 29/09/11 1.23millionth to reach it :P
