dirk4slayer
So here's my question: which weapon is better to kill Metal Dragons with melee, a Leaf-bladed Sword (on Stab mode of course) or a Whip? I've been wondering about this for a long time now, could any of you help me? Thanks in advance  Chuck Norris doesn't ever need a compass; he randomly points somewhere and north goes there in order not to anger him. Cptbaker08
Both work well if you have high enough att/str lvls, which if ur hunting metal dragons you should, a whip will do just fun, especially for irons. When you get to steels the LBS is a little better and if used on mithrils its the best. Bronze dragons are week so a whip will be best. I myself have never done any of this due to the fact is i don't get steel or mithril dragons as tasks. ultimatballr
I've never used the LBS before so I would say go with the whip. From my experience on irons it rips pretty easily through their defence. But do you think you should be melee'ing them with only 70 str? Even if it was on a task and you had super att + str pots, I don't know if you are going to be getting faster kills than you would have been able to with that mage level of yours. Apparently, my signature was to big.
shawn3090
Back when i had 98 attack I compared LBS to whip at irons. I found whip to be slightly better. You have 94 so i would go with whip for irons-. for miths lbs is the best no matter what. Steels idk but it seems lbs would be better. [hide=Stats][/hide]"One death is a tragedy. tryto
I personally prefer whip for both steels and irons. Even for mithril dragons, the choice between a whip and a leaf-bladed sword is not very clear cut; the sword is a bit faster on average, but the whip has a spec bar, so you can check how long until you can use a godsword spec :P. It should depend on your attack level; I doubt there's much of a difference in accuracy at low-middling 90's, and whip has a strength bonus advantage. spyderownzyou
a leaf-bladed sword has lower strength bonus as far as i remember though, so your gonna hit lower :| i'd stick with a whip for faster kills You only live twice. Cptbaker08
a leaf-bladed sword has lower strength bonus as far as i remember though, so your gonna hit lower :| i'd stick with a whip for faster kills It does have a lower strength bonus, but its more accurate on mith dragons then the whip. For irons it doesnt matter to much, so most people use the whip. For steels its a little more of a difference, but if you have very good att/str stats then it wouldnt matter which you use.
