July 18, 200916 yr Hehe, but most can't resist the urge to show off. Next option, crystal shield/dfs dude. Nothing wrong with following, as long as you dont hug the orbs or reflect them off the map. O.O
July 18, 200916 yr >:o only one/two good goppers I know wields a crystal shield :o.. And only like two with dfs :x Don't go for high combat levels either :D what you said is true, though. But how many followers don't think they're so pro and go around hugging/repelling everything? (and then thinks they actually helped in scoring that 40+)
July 18, 200916 yr I donno, some really really good GOPer last night with crystal shield which i followed around :P. Managed to win most altars despite a team member repelling the orbs. O.O
July 18, 200916 yr XD If she's who I think she is, she's somewhat of a friend of mine :D Honestly, it's better to learn the game though. XD Following a wrong person can get you targetted, badly. (targetting = going against, getting friends to go against <- not fun to have "pros" against you). Having a someone accidently repel is way too common and annoying. I hate it. Especially when the games are good, like having 40 orbs with 1/4 timer left, then some idiot repels, and that possible 50 is gone. bleh.
July 18, 200916 yr I consider myself a semi-decent player. :P, even following teaches you things. Oh, and the repeller was purposely doing it, god knows why. O.O
July 26, 200916 yr I think why GOP is hated so much is because its one of the few (or even only) minigames in which is may actually be a disadvantage to have another player. For most games, an extra player means you get an extra person to help you kill this monster/person/do this and that, but in GOP having an additional player, who will probably be a noob could severely slow you down because of piling and orb hugging. O.O
July 27, 200916 yr I consider myself a semi-decent player. :P, even following teaches you things. Oh, and the repeller was purposely doing it, god knows why. cough, sabotager, cough cough. ^^ they suck. sabos are usually players that know they'll get their [wagon] kicked if they challenge you, so they get back at the lamest, cheapest way possible :3. Funnest part is to win and score well even with those losers :3

I certainly would not call my partners someone who would slow me down. Gop is mainly hated because it's hard to win without patience/time, and due to the fact that some more experienced players aren't too nice to the newbies, making it even harder on their confidence. (even though i'm aware of that, I myself aren't too nice :-# ). And obviously, because of losing streaks, as the original poster mentioned. Another 50 score as a duo (2 players) on air. I'm in a good mood as of now

July 28, 200916 yr I'm just saying it could definitely be a disadvantage for some players, particularly just randoms with 50 RC to severely slow you down. O.O
