My pvp summoning question

Featured Replies

On wilderness worlds, I have often wondered about summoning monsters. Now my question.

1. Will your summoned monster attack what you are attacking in a multi-combat area? I'm not sure about this as one summon's special attack is to attack what you are attacking.

2. Will barker toads being cannons work on pvp worlds?

Irrelevant question #1

Are the three monsters that drop armadyl that accompany Kree arra only spawn in the boss room?

The summon will only attack if your in a multi combat area like normal worlds.

And i assume barker toads will work as cannons, except they only last for 9 mins, so they won't be too good.

Yes they are only in the boss room. (If they weren't woulden't armadyl only be like 500k a piece?)

Im asking if they will attack other players on their own, not if they will attack anything at all.

They will only attack if you are in combat with the enemy.

Familiars will attack other players, yeah, but you'd need to call them because their AI is slow to respond to you being attacked. It only works on players who you are already in combat with, which I suppose is the purpose of those scrolls that tell familiars to attack...I guess they let them attack guys that aren't already attacking you.

As for barker toads, their timer is bugged and they last less than 10 minutes, so you'd never want to use one anyway.

If you call a familiar while you are in combat, it will attack a random monster/player that is fighting you. If it's single, then it will attack the only thing attacking you.

Never used barker toad but I assume it works in pvp. Remember, it's not a cannon, it just has a special that lets it shoot 1 cannonball.

Yes, they are in the boss room.
