Yea well, photoshop is a basic no brainer for top quality photo manipulations. They called it photoshop for a reason. :)

If you asked what our favourite modeling, sculpting, drawing, painting, pixeling, illustrating program (etc) is, you'd get much more of a broad answer. Right now we are kinda limited, and the majority of us would most likely prefer PS over other programs.

:) Kinda pointless topic if you ask me.

Ive always used Photoshop mainly. For a long time I had to make do with Photoshop 5 LE that I got years ago but finally this year i managed to afford to get Photoshop CS through work. :D

I also use Flash4 for vector based work as I don't have any other drawing packages really

Paint is also a great program for quick and easy usage :D

but Besides the ubar hax of powerpoint, I use these programs:

Photoshop- Basicly where everything I make ends up at, for post-processing and the likes.

Terragen- For all my landscaping needs

Bryce 5- Abstracts

Vue 4- Use it every once and a while. But not much right now.

apophysis- For fractuals and the like, you know, for abstracts.

Just decided to post the bulk of what I use. Just saying what editing software isn't going to get many different replys.

Editing: Corel photopaint, a cheaper pro level package

Painting: Corel Painter 7 ....latest version is 9. Any of the versions about 5 are awesome.

vector/illustration: Corel Draw...usually comes with the same package as photopaint.

If you want a free painting package try pixia or open canvas 1.1

A free illustration package is made by serif for those who want one.

Ya, I use CS2 and Terragen, Just bought CS2 this year, previously I used Ulead Photo Impact 5 :)
