Best item to alch? (buying both natures and the item)

Featured Replies

Hi all.

Just wondering which item is now considered best to alch cost-wise? Is it still yew longs? I'm alching from 96 to 99 magic and buying both the natures and items.

Thanks!

its all based on the cost of the natures, and selected substrate.

all in all, if your substrate were to be yew longs, and if my calculations are correct, the gp rate is around 1.3gp/1exp

meaning you will have to spend 5 - 6 mil.

What items can you alch and make a profit from (if you buy the nature rune and the substrate)?

Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.

You have to find that out for yourself. If people find out which items you can alch for a profit, than that would increase the demand and increasing the price.

thats not profiting or even breaking even

and the items you can alch and make profit by buying both nats and substrate work, but you cant buy very many at one time because they usually cost a lot anyways.

and whats so bad about crafting nats? if u do that, u can break even if u buy YLB.

or, to train 3 skills at once, buy sapphires/gold bars and p ess. craft the ess into nats, and craft the gems/bars into sapph braces. you make a very pretty profit
