March 6, 200917 yr Hi all. Just wondering which item is now considered best to alch cost-wise? Is it still yew longs? I'm alching from 96 to 99 magic and buying both the natures and items. Thanks!
March 6, 200917 yr its all based on the cost of the natures, and selected substrate. all in all, if your substrate were to be yew longs, and if my calculations are correct, the gp rate is around 1.3gp/1exp meaning you will have to spend 5 - 6 mil. Miseryism | Completionist
March 6, 200917 yr Author thanks, but yeah i realise that; my question is which item is most cost effective now.
March 6, 200917 yr can i butt in here and ask a question too? (saves me making another separate topic) What items can you alch and make a profit from (if you buy the nature rune and the substrate)? Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.2672nd person to reach 2496 total. Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D

You have to find that out for yourself. If people find out which items you can alch for a profit, than that would increase the demand and increasing the price. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~

March 6, 200917 yr Air battlestaffs  Only lose 3gp per alch :D :D thats not profiting or even breaking even  and the items you can alch and make profit by buying both nats and substrate work, but you cant buy very many at one time because they usually cost a lot anyways. and whats so bad about crafting nats? if u do that, u can break even if u buy YLB. or, to train 3 skills at once, buy sapphires/gold bars and p ess. craft the ess into nats, and craft the gems/bars into sapph braces. you make a very pretty profit ~ 3,072nd to 99 Mining on August 30th, 2009 ~~ 112,084th to 99 Magic on April 16th, 2011 ~~ 131,681st to 99 Crafting on March 29, 2019 ~~ 178,385th to 99 Prayer on April 2, 2019 ~~ 234,921st to 99 Defence on May 9, 2019 ~~ 173,480th to 99 Herblore on June 21, 2019 ~~ 155,160th to 99 Smithing on July 16, 2019 ~
