Hi just a few questions in reference to black mask.

 

I am 58 slayer... i never knew about the black mask, are the black mask and slayer mask the same thing? What does the (10) charges do and can they be recharged? When does the bonuses on slayer mask work... just on the monster your supposed to be killing? Is it worth the 550k it costs?

No, the Slayer Helmet also incorporates other slayer headgear, namely the facemask, nosepeg, spiny helmet and earmuffs

When you attack someone with a charged black mask, you may randomly reduce their defence levels at the cost of a charge. The mask cannot be recharged. The defence reduction applies to both PvP and PvM

Definitely

okay well does the slayer mask look similar? or is it a totally different thing. I refer to the one that gives.. i think.. +15% bonus to str and another skill.

Basically, just Slayer Helm has all slayer headgear in it as well.

Yes all the slayer items for helms so u can use blackmask when ur killing dust devils and abby specters.

If you enjoy slayer black mask (and slayer helm when you get the points) is down right amazing.

 

Its a 15% boost on all slayer tasks which can be coupled with potions.

 

 

 

Slayer helm is a god like item for slaying. With black masks tasks like dust devils are a pain as you can't get the 15% boost, but with the helm you can slayer any task without having to switch head gear.

 

Also it allows you to make use of the poli dungeon (best used with slayer rings) which allows you to use cannons, familiars along with the 15% boost which cuts task times in half (a lot more then half if your using a cannon).

some people call black mask slayer mask. while this isnt correct, they are the same thing. slayer HELM, however, is different.
